This man’s delusional, going on a TV show to promote himself after all he did. Does he really think we’ve that short of memories & we’ve forgot he’s a charlatan. Him & his cronies put the country on its knees, then handed it to Fine Gael to completely bury it. His decisions is affecting my generation now. Fine Gael will affect the generations after me for years to come. This man should be grateful he wasn’t jailed & live a more modest discrete life but has shown once again he’s no shame.

The, crash was brought about in the housing construction industry. Builders valuing land they owned but ckd never deal with cos public under conditions of pp to get loans from like of Anglo Irish. State shkd have taken over the to be public land before any building work and might have been no f crash

The reality is that when Bertie was in charge we had an excess of houses. To blame him for the current shortage is ludicrous.

but the run up to the crash of the construction sector in 2008 happened with him as taoiseach- the lack of houses built for years after as a result is partly to blame for the current situation. not rocket science
