I see folks from all over the world singing these great songs and I can't help but think of how one fine day we will all stand around God's throne and sing praises to Him. In a little village in Burma, I used to hear my mom and the congregation singing hymns like this in our native tongue. It was beautiful then. God is so wonderful and kind to my family.

Same here... I am truly unworthy of Gods wondrous grace! What happened was that one night, before sleeping, I repented of my sins, and asked the Lord Jesus Christ to take away my sinful addictions. I truly ment it in my heart, and my desire to turn from sin was sincere, for the first time in my life... And guess what, He took all my addictions away over night! After being born again, the Holy Spirit has guided me into all truth, and has shown me the realities of this world, and who the god of this world is. I am glad I am no longer part of this world! For those of you who are not awake, please, turn to Jesus Christ, everything in the Bible is true, it's not like what you have been told. Don't believe in the blinding wizardry of the devil, it's all lies... In every thing I give thanks to you Jesus, you loved me first and now I love you! Amen!

Tears fill my eyes every time I listen to this. God bless this congregation, brothers and sisters an ocean away. We will all sing together someday.

As a relatively new widower I spend an hour or so listening to you every Sunday morning before going off to preach. You take me back to my young days as an evangelistic song leader in Europe, the UK and here in the United States. And, as i listen to the great congregational singing from Belfast, "He lifts the burden!" "Jesus lifts the burden!"

I first sang this song when I was in grade 1 at a school in Tasmania in 1970. Being a kid and not paying attention I thought it was "I am Australian......" lol. Suffice to say I was a tad embarrassed when I was an adult and heard the song again. But I love this song so much as my faith and trust in my saviour is as strong as it was when I was young man.

Marvelously done, I must wonder at His deep love, a love without measure, able to save the unworthy, breaking them in their bodies into that which will serve him and bringing them a love also beyond measure. Know that your faith shall be rewarded in that day brothers and sisters.

Used to go there. Bit sad to see the videos from there with the decimated choir and congregation. I do think Pastor Purse is a great speaker and wish him God's blessing in building the place up again.

This is one marvelous hymn and the way this congregation does it glorifies God with praise from the heart - you can hear it and feel it. It is one of those hymns you can not help but sing along with.
