Partially the reason Final Destination was so spooky, it wasn’t a killer doll or a ‘dream demon’ it was death itself stalking people. Tusk was horrifying aswell, if you haven’t seen it yet I HIGHLY recommend it.

I graduated from high school in 1997. This was the ultimate date movie. I saw this film five times in the theatre with a different girl or group of friends. In the 90's, before smart phones and the modern internet, you had to really know your friends. You had to know their schedules and when they would be around to take a phone call. There was nothing more miserable than being stuck home on the weekend, unable to locate your friends...

I remember those days, it was like a competition between the two movies. I remember after ppl watched I Know What You Did Last Summer ppl were going as far as saying it was better than Scream. I didn’t think so but I thought it was still a good movie. The slicker and the hook was creepy. I remember seeing Scream in 96 with my mom and her childhood friend. I wish we would’ve went to see I Know What You Did Last Summer as well in theaters.

What an incredible film! I went with my girlfriend at the time, only a couple of days into our relationship, and I was a bit timid about making physical contact. Throughout the whole movie, though, she was snuggled up against my neck. Such fond memories.

This film was a Masterpiece, the Sequel was Unfortunate. Now's a time for Gen Z to watch an instant Classic, I Know What you Did Last Summer, which I liked better than Scream: ; this film sure gave Scream a run for it's money and is on par with Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street, why because this film is real and believable like the killer in Silence of the Lambs or Seven. The scariest Monsters are People, the same lesson you learned in Scooby Doo.

This story gave a good lesson to be responsible for what you did. The development of characters is great in this film other than the characters of Ben Willis, Max, and Ray. The threat faced by Ray was also not present. It was not clear why he visited Missy. It is also not clear why Ben killed Max and Elsa and why he used a hook for killing. He seems to be a psychopath. The police officer seems to be silly, careless, and slow-witted. The attempts of Helen to escape from the killer were unnecessarily too lengthy. There are several other attempts also to convert this into a horror and thriller movie. But it is better if this makes as a mystery movie.

This was the film that followed the release of "Scream", which spawned a whole string of "teenage horror" films that lasted until the early 2000's: Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Urban Legends, Scream 2, The Blair Witch Project, The Faculty, Jawbreaker, The Craft, Halloween:H20,....just off the top of my head. Not to say that there weren't many films which preceded the release of Scream.....but the success and popularity, along with an entire clique of actors and actresses that made this era especially unique. Quite a few had continued success and were able to break out into other genres. Ryan Phillipe and Sarah Michelle Gellar would re-unite in "Cruel Intentions", a true and lasting favorite of my own.

But this wasn't actually what happened on the book, I read it, it didn't mentioned that they are going to thrown the body on a river. I'm a bit disappointed abt this. Additionally, when the time Barry was hospitalized, his mother doesn't want any visitors at all, so what does Helen and Julie doing at the hospital?? Gosh. Just as what the author said in the book, he was disappointed and I am too.
