Always wanted to weaponize a deck of cards? Me too.
I set out to learn how with some camping pads, dental floss, and a cucumber.
(And some help from a former NCAA pitcher)
Also, here are some tips for increased accuracy (as a bonus for the folks who read the descriptions on things:)
1. Pay attention to where you're looking - because that's more often than not where your card is going to end up.
2. If your card isn't going where you're looking, pay attention to the skew.
Is it usually drifting up and to the left by a foot? Then for the next shot, look down and right of your target (1 foot) before you throw.
3. Take breaks. The more tired your arm gets the worse your aim will be.
4. Spin is really important. More spin = less air resistance. That means more accuracy.
If your cards are getting all floppy midair, you need to put more wrist snap in your throw.
5. Some folks recommend ending your throw with your hand pointed at the target. I found this puts me in my head and makes my aim worse, but you may have better luck.
6. Take your time inbetween shots. The more rushed you are, the worse your aim will be.
Special thanks to Rick Smith Jr. for being very very scary with a pack of cards.
Without your videos, I think I'd still be trying to hit that cucumber.
