Jong-un Kim Usually when you leave your young kid alone they end up doing something stupid like empty out the entire trash can on the floor, jump in the furniture, draw on the tables or smear soap on all the walls of the bathroom (stuff my little sister enjoyed quite a lot when she was younger). And if you leave a puppy (or an adult dog with way too much energy to spare) alone they’ll usually eat your entire house up. So my brain strongly associates being left alone with misbehaving. Obviously I don’t think they expected their dog to misbehave when they left her alone for only a few minutes, I was just making a joke.

Oh man! She is one of the smartest dog I've ever see. I mean one day at a park. I was with my dog and my mom, I went and find my greatest hiding spot I knew there and my dog Miky just bark out loud trying to find me. At that time he was chilling with my mom, oh well I can't blame him. He's alittle too young to go out to find me on his own.

We had a Chow-Australian Shepard mix that once was staying at my grandpa’s house when we were out of town and he escaped, walked over 2 miles through many neighborhoods and across at least one major road until my grandpa found him back in our backyard unharmed. Some dogs are very smart. 😊

@@kukguroki4179 the point here is that it’s kinda useless to try this sort of thing outside, since you don’t want to leave your dog completely alone, and if you try to hide you WILL be found, unless the dog has an abnormally bad sense of smell. It’s much easier to do it inside of course, as you can comfortably leave the dog by itself (so long as you feel confident that it won’t wreck anything), but trying to hide from a dog (especially when you’re in a spot close enough from which you can see it with your camera) is pointless.

@@Seiryuu03 yes, that is a good alternative, and I’ve seen another video that did exactly that. It was more effective imo, because the dog really showed that he was lonely when they left, and then explored the house a bit. Point is, he acted as though he was alone, which is the point.

Sky had already spotted Mariah at 0.38, she looks straight at her. Dogs have noses thousands of times more sensitive than ours. Sky knows humans like to play games & good naturedly goes along with it.

Lovely, reminded me of when we were kids- 6 of us and our beautiful collie cross Trixie, would go play together in the long grass and woods- hide and seek and catch, she was like a nanny and best friend rolled into one - our dad even taught her how to check for cars before crossing the road, and we would wait as she'd sit, look both ways a couple of times, then she'd bark and we'd all cross together! She was the coolest dog in so many ways. We still love and miss her and talk about her, even though we're all well into our 50's and 60's now. Nothing beats a good dog!

"...somehow spots me." The sensors that dogs come equipped with is way above anything we humans have. I do this often with my GSD and he nonchalantly tracks me down using scent. I am in awe of the abilities of our canine friends.

this actually a good game for her mind, i had my golden find a tennis ball in the house, he had to wait in a room, which he would, then id instruct him to "find it", he loooved this game, he would follow my trail on the floor, that's how he found the tennis ball, animals are amazing

@@kukguroki4179 My dog has speration anxiety. Leave him to where he thinks hes alone and you'll think hes dying! Maybe hes an extreme case due to his issues but the sounds hes makes, is awful!
