My mom‘s funeral was two weeks ago. She was almost 94 years old. I gave a talk about her at the service. And I started speech out naming some lyrics from this song…. I Lived. I said this song could be an anthem about somebody quite pleased with how they lived. Well, my mom wasn’t like that…I said she would never be boastful and say this, but I will say it for her and I’ll even shout from the rooftops that this was my mom… she had more right to say…I swear I lived!! I… I did it all! She left everything out there on the field of life… the best mom, disciple of Christ… and life of service to family and friends. What an example she was for all. Oh how I loved that woman and I’ll never listen this song again without thinking of her. Mom, you have every right to say… I I did it all! Till we meet again!❤
