I agree completely I loved the guy I met 20 years ago he was the love of my life. It seems like no matter who I went out with afterwards I wished it was him but it's just a fantasy. He was very much older than me by 20 years but i fell hard for him.

I had a bf 11yrs ago.. he dedicate this song to me and first i heard this song,, its kinda weird and i dont know why hes dedicate this song to me.. he said because of the tune its relaxing.. we broke, he have a wife with 2kids. Yesterday, my Alexa alarm went off and this song was playing, I lost my hubby 4 months ago, we were married 50 years. This song is great, can’t get the lyrics out of my head. We were together since 1971, had lots of good times and bad times. It’s like half of me is missing, My heart aches for him so much, I will never get over loosing him!

Hello Charles. I too, agree with You. The '80' S DID Have a lot of Great Bands. JOURNEY Was 1 of them. It was sad in 1989 when they disbanded, cuz 2 members went to Carlos Santana's Band. But since then, Journey Re-United, and brought Arnel Pineda on board, to replace Steve Perry!!😢😞

No matter how painful the lyrics are I will always like this song! I can relate because October 30, 2019 was the 15th anniversary of loosing my wife Donna from a brain aneurysm that took her so suddenly without warning! A lovely song with a rueful message. Most of us suffer heartbreak in our early years and are lucky it doesn't continue but for some it continues. I guess this song is sadly for them. Luthaker's vocals and guitar and the backing are inspired.
