I plan on working till 70 and then semi retiring. My co workers say I’m crazy but when I show them the numbers of retiring at 67 and retiring at 70 it makes a lot of sense. Unless something happens the chances of me living well into my 90s are pretty good. My family history has a lot living into their 90s. My dad and mom both were in their late 80s when they passed from the first covid wave

When you work on the books earnings enough work credits to Retirement Retirement Retire. That does not mean to sit down. You get a Retirement Check every month really needs to be every week. I met a Retiree and he took on a small job suppose to be 20 hours a week but he to fly out visit his Son and come back in time to work that evening.

Back when you were growing as an entrepreneur and were more hands-on in your businesses, how did you determine when it was time for you to learn a new skill vs when it was appropriate to just outsource?

His idea of retiring and ours is different. This man hasn’t worked nearly as “hard” (subjective) as most people I know have the last 60 years of their life before the retired. Most of em worked outside or in factories their entire lives and once they hit 60 they can finally retire and enjoy their life for the last 20 years or so. Daymond has been living good already for the last 30+ years. So him retiring is him just doing the same thing lol. He hasn’t worked nearly as hard as someone who’s done construction for the last 30 years for example.

Gen X here.... I foresee retirement possible only when my casket lid closes 😂 With economy as is, and our generation raising our kids' children, there's no financial relief in sight.
