@@michaelkatz7862Really son, I'm 53 and I'm here to tell you that they may "know how to intimidate" and violate the law themselves in the process and not just the law, the supreme law of this country. You might as well just say 'They know how to shoot people' because that's just as legal to do as most ways they aren't allowed to intimidate. Why don't you grow the hell up out of my country? If you're under the erroneous impression that these pigs can do whatever they want and get away with it, then you're very much mistaken. Why don't you try giving me an example of how they might legally intimidate someone who hasn't broken any law. Then maybe you can explain why they should be able to. The only way that they might legally be able to intimidate someone not breaking the law is by lying about the law and making false threats based on that lie. You would only be susceptible to such threats if you don't know your rights under the constitution which can override any law made by any state which can be found illegal under the constitution. Intimidating lawful citizens in any way is not part of their job that we pay them for and could get them in serious trouble themselves, so I say go ahead and try it. We need to eliminate qualified immunity so that they can all be sued directly, instead of just under certain circumstances not protected by qualified immunity which only allows us to sue governments and by extension the taxpayers themselves, because it shouldn't have been allowed to stand in the first place. The only reason it doesexist in the first place is the result of government corruption funded by fascist cop unions and their hand greasing lobbyists. Judges can and have gone down by violating our constitution which provides no exception all the way to the president for any individual, no matter how powerful, to be able to violate those rights. So I want to know why the supreme court thinks that they have such power to vest in any other person, since the POTUS himself doesn't. We're working on that with our numbers growing daily by waking up to the truth. This nation is one of 'we the people' and if you're not down with that, but more like going down on the pigs, then maybe you should find another country, since this one isn't meant for you or them .

Demographics literally means approximate age and gender and race if you are confident you can identify someone’s race eg white male mid to late thirties is how I would describe the cop

So yes, it IS information that could be used to identify you, but “asking for your demographics” is not quite the same as asking for your identification. The man could have answered the cop with “I’m an average white man in his 30s that makes an average amount of money per year” and it would have been a correct answer. The cop just wanted his identification, but decided to try and sound smart by using the word “demographics”, failing miserably.

Senate bill 217 states an officer must have a lawful reason to make contact. It also states they must have body cameras and some other things but nowhere does it say a citizen must identify themselves when not suspected of a crime.

@@erxfav3197 the courts have already long ago decided that police have no duty to serve or protect us. Their duty is to enforce the law, and only to enforce the law. It is completely up to the officers discretion whether or not he wants to protect you or risk his life doing so. That’s why the officers in Uvalde could not be held liable for not doing their job, because protecting a school full of kids isn’t their job. You can thank the Supreme Court for that.

This means that nobody on Earth has authority over the American people, not each other, not even our government. We only make laws that are fair for everybody; irrespective of age, race creed, sex, status, etcetera. This means the cops cannot tell US what to do, unless we are under arrest for breaking the law, or interfering with police duties. Senate bill 217 in Colorado is actually an awesome law that ends state qualified immunity, compels officers witnessing unnecessary force to intervene, and mandates cops to wear body cameras, among lots of other important things. It doesn’t mean police can stop and demand ID. I applaud Colorado democrats for getting such an important bill through!

@@TexasPapa13 there are 26 states that are stop and ID. They need reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime still, but you are required to submit identification once that is articulated.

@@coryflintoff9872 clearly you didn’t read what I said. NOT ONE state lets a cop walk up and demand ID just because he wants it. Thats what stop and ID is. Just like stop and frisk was deemed unconstitutional. So was stop and ID. And as you said most states require RAS of a crime at minimum. So that detail right there disqualifies them as a stop and ID states. Stop and ID infers a cop can just stop any person and demand ID for any reason they see fit. No state in the USA exists like that.

This is why I completely avoid law enforcement in general. You don’t go up and say hi, you don’t wave, you don’t converse with them… they can and will use any of that against you. The vast majority of them do not care about you or how you are doing…

Vast majority? According to who? You? I've met a few asshole cops but most of them were completely reasonable human beings. That being said if you watch first amendment audits all the time you're gonna believe they're all terrible.

@@freemanfornow264 You know ultimately they're human beings just like the rest of us, right? Bad cops are usually just bad people in general. Only met one bad cop in my life who pulled me over for a bullshit reason in a fly over state, the rest were respectful, understanding, and overall good people. You gotta stop acting like they're all robots programmed to subjugate us, that's just delusional.
