大切なのは左右対称ではなく、どの角度から見ても各パーツの位置をしっかり把握出来ていることだと思いました。

The half covered face ideas were so cute ☺ I would say there are few instances where you'll have to draw a face exactly straight on but those were incredibly great ideas. I also love the idea that proportions play a bigger role than symmetry in creating an attractive face, I would have to agree! There is beauty in the imperfections and if you just copy and paste one side and bring it to the other, it has a stale look and feeling to it. The asymmetry of the symmetry is what brings variety to the unity

I remember this video from back in the day, but it's been nice to review it. I've been developing the habit of placement for the face thanks to Rodgon's lessons, but yeah, my problem now is definitely coming up with face features I consider "cute" or satisfying enough to implement, so I bounce between references for now until I settle with a definite style.

@@MatrixOne500 self-report.... as a lolicon? I don't really think its that big of a deal as you're making it out to be. If you're familiar with saito's past, he's made some lolicon artwork as well. It's just common in the anime art community lmao, especially on the JP and asian side.

These tips will work if you want to make illustrations right away that are not held down by these current hinderances! But, it is still worth practicing how to draw the face straight outside of illustrations. These ideas will help you while you learn to draw something when you are still new! Please practice anatomy at the same time too, so your creative freedom expands

I am not him but, i think you should try to find how he does his artworks (if there is recordings of him drawing) or you try to recreate his works, by doing that you will be able to follow the same steps to do something original. If by looking at any of his works you are still clueless of how he's doing it, you should train on the fondamentals

bladeさんの絵は顔のパーツが特に良く言えばテンプレ化、悪く言えばハンコ化してるように感じるでも、全然悪い事じゃないんだよね。言葉の印象的にマイナスに取られがちだけど。自分の中で体系化することで速さとクオリティを担保するというのはとても重要な事見る側は掛けた時間なんてぶっちゃけどうでもいいんだから、似たようなクオリティなら1000時間かけても1時間かけようが評価は変わんないしね

そもそも人間の顔は表情が出るほどに左右対称でなくなるというか、極端な例だと「しかめっツラ」「大あくび」「バカ笑い」してる場合とか、ほぼほぼ左右対称じゃなかったり。微妙な表情、静かな表情の時も、実はかすかな歪みで表現されるべきなのかもですね。エモーショナル（エモさ）は歪みにありかぁ。。。

左右の目の角度がやたら違う絵って意図的だったのか個人的には一回気になると気になってしょうがなくなるから好みではないが

自分もかんちがいしてたけど、そもそも現実の人間の顔が左右非対称だったりする🤣　正面向きの写真の顔の中心で左右で分けて反転させて右と左の顔作ると別人と思うぐらい違ったりする。意識高い人が右斜めがベストショットって言ったりするのは理にかなってるみたいな説明を写真撮る側の人が説明してるの見たコトがある。個人的にリアルに近ければ近いほど反転使って対象にした時作り物感が強くなって気持ち悪さを感じる。現実が左右対称じゃあないのに左右対称に描く必要ってナニ？　って思ってからは意図的に崩したりするようにはなった。限度はあるけど😅

人の顔の写真よく見て見てください。左右非対称で特に目などの二重加減が違ったりしてます。まれにほぼ正対称な人もいますが、じっと見て見るとなんだか逆に違和感を感じてきます。かわいいと感じるよりも違和感がなく自然に見えるから良く感じるのだと思います。なので顔を描くときは、必ず非対称になるようにほんの数度、数ミリでいいので線の角度などを変えてください。どんなときもです(´･ω･`)

絵を描き始めて2ヶ月の初心者です…… オリジナルキャラを描いているのですが、自分が納得する線画まで10時間以上かかります。アナログで試し描きしてからデジタルで描き始めて色を塗る工程までいくのにものすごく時間がかかってます…… 色の塗り方も分かりませんから勉強してますが、完成まで17時間ほどかかります。もう少し早く完成まで持っていける方法とかありますか?

連投されているので切実なご様子ですが、さいとう先生のチャンネルには線画や塗りに関する動画がいくつもあります。まだ全部観られてないなら観てみてください。私も質問しようか迷った時にさいとう先生の動画から自分なりの解決のヒントを貰いました。もし全部観て実践したうえで解決しない状態ならその経緯も含めて質問してはどうでしょう？ KZfaqコメントよりＸやインスタの方がさいとう先生の目に留まりやすいと思いますよ。私の思考では、本当に納得できる状態までもっていけるなら、10時間も17時間も決して長くない価値ある時間だと思いますけどね。 (締切があったら話は別) ともあれ、試行錯誤しながら楽しんで描いていきましょう😊 長文コメント失礼しました。

左右対称の顔は無表情な時だから魅力が感じにくいんだと思う。シンメトリーはやっぱり気持ちいいけど人工的だからそこを眉、目、口で歪ませるのがいいんだと考えてる

正面顔、現実でらよく半分が男性的で半分が女性的になる、みたいに言われまさてますよね。半分が母親似で半分が父親似って事なのかもしれないですが…。現実の人の顔が左右で違うのに、なんで絵は対象に描こうとするのか…少し歪んでいるのが普通で、それを潜在意識に、持っているから対象に描くのが難しいのかも…なんて思います。
