I'll give Cyber Dragon and Morphing Jar a pass. Cyber Dragon seems right up Kaiba's beatdown strategy, and Morphing Jar is kinda similar to Cyber Jar, which Kaiba did play There's no defending Junk Synchron tho lol

Econ is just pure gold right now, dodges so many targeting effects while stealing your opponents fenrir, because everyone and their brother is playing fenrir.

@@Pihutihutihutijay I mean, it's a free summon that adds a copy of itself from deck, has a facedown banish that's obscenely easy to trigger, all on a 2400 body. Not playing it if you have space is silly.

I too remember when kaiba summoned his most iconic boss monster, psychic end punisher, after all who could forget when he summoned this against yugi. I was so hype when I pulled this card from the legend of psychic end punisher set back in 2002.

I knew where the duel was going as soon as he used his most prized monster cards: Junk Synchron and Cyber Dragon, the glue that holds his whole strategy together. The most iconic pieces of his deck.

I think the reason they don’t let you is because during stage 2 when you have enough points you’re likely to run into the same person over and over again. If someone knows your deck they can play around the cards you might have more easily.

Seto used Mirror Force as well iirc. Morphing Jar is totally a car he would had used seeing as he used Cyber Jar as well as other cards for +5s or so.

2:55 - 3:00 I'm only getting into yugioh again since a few weeks.. What happend there? why did the jar go off? Was the negation prevented because the jar wasn't on the field by the time the chain reached it? Or was it prevented because Infinite Impermanence specifically targets "one face-up monster your opponent controls"? or both? 😅😅

Late response, but jar resolved because imperm targets the face up monster, which, because jar was destroyed by torrential, it no longer became a face up monster
