Can I ask an ignorant question: Why do you use so much extra hair if your hair itself is so thick and long like hers? Do you need it for the braid structure? Cause extra hair makes it more heavy right?

It doesn’t matter how long or how thick your hair is, the roots is ALWAYS thicker than the ends of your hair so any protective style uses extra braiding hair for the “full” appearance on the braids, from root to tip.
