My favorite motorcycle I’ve bought yet is still the 1974 Kawasaki f7 175 cc enduro. It’s super fun for around town or around the trails and has a very tactile feel compared to modern bikes.

Totally cool 175 I used to ride my brother's green one in the pineapple fields of Hawai'i.

My first bike in the mid 70s but it was an F11B 250. Built/bored to a 350 size. At a certain speed/rpm, it would just take off like a rocket. Got stolen, found out who stole it. Knocked on his door. The kid had his arm in a sling and I saw the bike in pieces behind him in his living room. He had broken his collar bone while riding my bike. He came out tried to fight me but he fell down in the process. I walked away somewhat satisfied.

Just bought a '74 F7. Going to pick it up today! Same color scheme and great condition. My first bike, purchased in '92 was the same. Very excited to get it. Also just bought a '77 Suzuki PE 250. And when you say vintage 2-stroke scooters, are we talking like Vespas and Lambrettas? I also have a collection of those! What state are you in?

Nice! The 90's styled bikes are starting to look cooler and cooler to me. I used to have some 90's mopeds that were rad to me today but at the time i cut all the plastics off and painted it. lol.

Mid 70s through early 90s I really like the retro style they had going on. Plus they are just so much fun! Some of the first bikes I ever rode and learned on, were 90s mopeds.

I scored one of these bikes recently for a good price in fair shape. Having an issue with weak spark and a couple wires that I’d like know where they belong. Do you know where I can find a wiring diagram for the f6?? I can only find one for f7. Thanks in advance

Those are orig. forks. Hatta forks. Did not come with brace. The fork springs are adjustable, just remove plugs on top, push down and turn clockwise with screwdriver. 3 settings I think.

Your bike is actually a 1973 model. The color scheme of the tank striping, the black engine, the instruments, controls and everything else are characteristic of the 1973 model year. 1973 was unique compared to the 1974 model.

I had a 71 Kawasaki 175. I loved the bike except it kept flooding due to I guess a bad design. My fix was to loosen the plug on the lower right side of the engine to let the excess gas drain out. Anyone else had that problem?
