@@ArcheTelos we all do, but remember Dearka got demoted to green uniform maybe because he once had Betrayed ZAFT like Athrun (which means he's no longer the same rank as Shinn let's say) and Yzack only got the commander role because of Durandal's move (remember he had shoot a civilian ship..... Even if he didn't know). But at least those 2 are still whoopin Gundams even if they now use more customized non Gundams like the Gunner Zaku and Zaku Phantom

I wish they kinda expanded on him a bit more in the show but you're right, he was a cocky coordinator thinking he was superior until actually getting his eyes opened to natural who just lost her loved one and realising not all are racist fucks.

I agree about Dearka. And Yzak was a much bigger jerk at the start, even to his own allies. Until that time when he saw his fellow soldiers having fun killing defenseless Naturals. That really tore through his heart. His mouth is still kinda toxic, though.

I've never been a big fan of seed, but there Gundams are really amazing suits mobile design and fun to watch. Can you do a review of the MG Gundam Epyon and comparison with Wing Zero Ver. ka?

Epyon is ok. It has good articulation, but it's easy to snap the claws when building, so I'd recommend being extra careful at that part. The calf sports an extra joint so you can get more articulation in dragon form. The wings have a small transform gimmick, but are heavy and the connection joint is weaker than it should be, which means it's prone to sagging, so you'll need to tighten that up. The stickers show up a little too much on those dark colors, so I went a different route and painted the vertical stripes a gold trim. The feet open up as mouths and there are teeth designs on the inside, but they're not color separated. Other than the wings, it all holds up really well though.

I think the best way is to remove the peg in the holding hand with a file, the arms in the side skirts are strong enough to hold up the weapons

most of Cosmic Era's mecha are logically well designed in terms of balanced and realistic performance. Same goes to its newer plas and I might have the ultimate fun on those kits, ONLY IF the writings of Gundam SEED and especially Destiny wasn't a total garbo.

Well a bit yes. The Strike Launcher looks same with Buster and Duel with the base Strike considering it was the base model for the 4 of them. Other than that the other striker packs are unique on their own.

Blitz & Aegis look drastically different from the rest though, especially in the anime. Bandai tried to retcon MG Blitz by remolding the shoulders more like Strike's shoulders. Thank god I have both the NG & MG Blitz. The old NG is still irreplacable for its anime-accuracy.

Coming at you in 2022 and I picked this up as my first master grade kit. The gun being so huge is what sold me on it. I love that you can do it in long range rifle and heavy armor piercing shotgun configs!

I've built the high grade back in the day, and even that kit was one of my favorites. I love his guns and how they pivot around the waist and can connect into each other! I'm right there with you on that being my favorite gimmick of this suit

Buster's one of my fav's as well from Seed. While it's not going to Dominate the battlefield like the Freedom/Justice/Destiny lines, It remains hyper-competent in its artillery role. Only way to go better is the verde buster...which I'm surprised has NOT been a P-bandai kit. I love the Seed designs, and I'm glad they Did the Remaster MG line.

I recently got this kit and it is also my first mg. So fricking solid. I sadly dropped it the other day from my desk and broke the one gun so now i need to fix it. So sad, but only that one part broke and it dropped a fair distance. Crazy sturdy. Love this gundam and would totally recommend getting it. great review as always. keep it up.

I don't have this version, only the 1/100 non-grade. It's basically an up-scaled HG and one of the first kits airbrushed.

Oh yeah, sharpies work wonders. I used 'em to give colour to the eyes of the tallgeese, and it looks fantastic. Also use a silver sharpie for reflections behind parts and for heat hawks.

@@ClemPrime13 really depends on the look you're going for. If you want a metallic shimmer, either use the stickers or follow the paint index. But if you want the crystalline look of clear parts, a sharpie is a fantastic solution. Plus, there's no way to get an uneven coat like with clear paint.

I’ve wanted to customize this buster gundam into a Ghost Buster Gundam. The beam guns and pack would be a proton pack, and the shoulder launchers would be duel ghost traps. I like the idea of painting the rockets inside as green slimmer ghost missiles.

I had gotten this as my first mg cause of your vid "top 5 best mg for beginners" its funny how you called it a brick, but for me, mine was a grenade when trying to pose him with cannons on his hip. Granted it was my first mg so i probably didnt do a good job. Will probably go back and fix him up one day

When it comes to having the hands hold onto the handles, I find that it's a lot easier to just place the holding fingers around the handle and let them sit there without slotting the pegs in. It still holds up pretty well since the support arms for the guns do a great job of supporting their weight by themselves.

I just built this and I totally agree with your review. Really solid kit and I am an instant fan of that gun gimmick. Out of all the Seed kits, this one is closest to a UC kit in my opinion. So this fits perfectly with my UC collection.

It's not true to the anime. The NG 1/100 is the one that is true to the lineart & anime (dalong has the comparison). All GAT-X Gundam MGs (other than the old Strike) are stylized redesigned kits. They look super-cool but not anime-accurate.

Duel and Buster are the best looking SEED Gundams. If I can't find a Type D Jegan, they'll be my first MGs. The OG 5 + Justice and Providence are great designs.

I dont get the hate for seed. Its honestly a pretty good show and has a lot of character development. Not to mention it has one of the best mobile suit design such as the astrays. You should definitely finish watching it. I wasnt that into it at first but it gets better and better

The hands with the seed kits aren't the same as the wing EW hands. There are slight visual differences and the peg sizes are different.

I can confirm that using sharpie looks pretty good on clear parts i did that to my hg exia repair 2 and the condenser looks as good as the one on the mg

Kinda' reminds me how Dynames was *conspicuously* Irish-looking (as was its pilot) with all that dark green and stark white. Maybe it's one of those things where it's not so much the ideas on these series change as much as they get refined and reworked in different timelines.
