The scene with Yanagi at the bus stop is one of my most favorite out of the entire series, just because they are fooling around just like typical high school students and making up a skit just to for an "excuse" to hang out with a friend. Such a nice and innocent thing! 😀

The shoes are uwabaki, kind of like slippers with rubber soles. School kids keep a pair in their locker and change into them when they arrive at school. They switch back to their regular shoes if they need to go outside.
