I know this song is about the end of a romantic relationship, but it's hitting me from a totally different place in a huge way. Years ago, my nephew died quite suddenly. We were very close. He was more like a son to me, than nephew. It happened in Thailand, so my Sister had to call me by phone to tell me. I remember this sensation like someone had ripped the ground out from underneath me. I remember this desire to change it, to argue with it, but knowing there was nothing I could do. For some reason, the feel and lyrics of this song bring that rushing up in my. I'm just sitting here crying while I type this. I guess we all have our losses. It makes think of how it's not possible to get hurt unless you've had something worth hurting over. Thank you both so much for uploading this. It's beautiful.
