Im 11, and im in sixth grade. I thought everything was nice and chill, and then it hit me. Im growing up. Soon, ill be on seventh grade and ill be 12. I feel like the world is moving too fast for me and this song is a perfect representation of that.

I remember the first time I watched this, it was just a nice animation with a lot of expression, I didn’t fear time as much then, and rewatching this is just, almost only hitting the message even harder, cause this isn’t an old animation, not even close, but I remember watching it when it came out, and how much my views have changed since then this, hurts, I kid you not I almost cried during this, because just a year ago this had no real emotional value to me, and even in such a short time, everything’s changing, I don’t fear the passage of time itself, nor death itself, nor the unknowability of it, I fear change. Also I like da colors :D

Turning 18 in December, and my friend sent me this saying “This will be you when you become 18” and I’m sitting here like “Well yeah, I’m not even 17 mentally. I’m not ready to be an *adult* yet.” Then again, I guess nobody’s ever ready, huh? I dunno, this is just me rambling a bit. I mean, has anyone ever been ready to be an adult? I almost never drive and I have a license, I don’t have a job yet, high school is what’s worrying me and I have to go to college soon. It’s more weird to think about than it is daunting though, oddly enough. I see all that and think “Huh. This is what’s going on now.” like it’s no big deal.
