When I hear that a "rapper" doesn't or hasn't listened to the OGs I just cannot take them seriously. KRS pushing 60 and is still spittin straight FIRE. Inspirational. Saw him perform a few years ago in Portland, ME of all places and it was a mind-altering experience. Most other hip-hop just seems watered down after you see the Blast Mastah spit his bars LIVE. He was yelling at the sound guy to TURN UP THE BASS. He said he wouldn't start until it was loud enough. The sound guy looked like a deer in the headlights. Top 5 shows of my life and I stood 5 ft. from the man when he spit it. GOAT!
