I Am Back!
Sadly the world dictated that I not be allowed to have internet for an extended period of time making the whole "Consistent Uploading" thing kinda difficult.
With the popularity of "By God We'll Have Our Home Again" I've decided to make another song in a similar vein. Taking a little inspiration from the community at Kaiser Cat Cinema, I decided to theme this song on the American Union State, and if this gets some popularity, I'll probably do songs for all the other American Factions.

A modern rebel has to use drones now. A friend of mine has been planning to acquire drones that can be used to drop grenades and bombs. His family is basically a militia. Guerrilla warfare will always beat conventional warfare. It was even proved by a US general (Paul K. Van Riper, vietnam and iraq veteran) in the Millenium Challenge wargame, where he used asymmetric tactics (as OpFor) to beat US conventional strategicians (BlueFor).

@@XDWX Among other things like using hidden messages in mosque prayer callings, using flare and light signals (to guide aircraft without radio), pidgeons and motorcycles to ferry messages. If I remember correctly they also used very mobile trucks/cars (forgot what model) to ambush strykers and other vehicles using AT guns, the mobility allowing them to retreat behind covering terrain and pop up elsewhere. The main defeat was the simulated destruction of the US fleet due to suicide bombing tactics, kinda like USS Cole but much larger scale, plus artillery on the ground and shore to give support to the bombers. The US mil decided after BluFor got humiliated by OpFor so badly that the whole rest of the wargame would be scripted with BluFor victories the whole way, mostly because a main goal of the wargame was to prove US naval and military spending wasn't going completely to waste (Van Riper disagreed).

You made a better version than the original imo. Amazing!!! If you're looking for more songs like this from America to "modernize" with the times. The old Applications miner socialist song "which side are you on" would be a good one. I'm from the area the civil strife was happening, I'm not a socialist, but I got to say I take their side on the matter of what was happening. Wouldn't be surprised if Amazon and the tech giants don't become the new modern day coal companies of yesterday if that gives you any ideas for the next song. Keep up the great work.

@@jonathanpatten8703 the difference is Lincoln's government didn't actually force the Old Confederates to do anything, they chose to secede, Lincoln even while opposing Slavery still let them keep that as that was their """right""" as individual States to decide, they still decided to secede anyway, and whatever they tried to preserve was crushed and any leverage they had was demolished because of this idiotic move, the modern Rebel actually has something to fight against, as he isn't being just be told "you know owning other human beings is actually bad," they're having their data collected by government agencies online 24/7, rights such as the 1st and 2nd being slowly stripped away, and a larger government than ever before and still growing being imposed on them

Several. IF civil war were to occur, it would not be as organized as the last one. The war would be as messy as other civil wars like the Russian or Spanish civil wars, with multiple factions arising of different worldviews and ideologies. TL;DR if war were to happen, it will be a clusterfuck

2ACW will probably start with states leaving one or two at a time, followed by the Fed ordering troops to take them back. The shooting would start within the military as the ones who refuse the order are pitted against those who would follow it. The states themselves probably wouldn't even have to fight, at least not for a while.
