There's actually a good many stylists who use the fire technique! Years ago I saw a program that showcased a few. It's called "The singe cut"

I've burnt my hair by accident and its never been the same how is that healthy to do as a process when getting your hair done done I'm so confused ..I'm not judging his techniques ..just super curious as to why he's burning the hair ???? someone answer this please !

Madu lock well you see hair grows more in spring because it senses the higher average surrounding temperatures and has correlated that with the higher amount of food intake, which means more keratin. He's simulating spring by singing the tips of her hair. Also, it's been scientifically proven that by melting the hair it grows up to 10x faster than normal. Nah I'm just kidding that's all made up he's just some eccentric crazy guy who overcharges people for burning their hair off. It's not helping them at all.

As a professional hairstylist of 10 years this is a really creative tecnique. Hairshows and events he will definitely win. Other than that this techniques seems so unnecessary. but hey $100+ bucks for him to do this to you is a win for him and a rip off to the client.

Exactly how would you cut curly hair like this though...? Like each curl has to be cut straight across, and you can't get a comb through it when it's dry very easily.
