You're fast becoming one of my favourite reactors. Boy With Love is many an ARMY's guilty pleasure. Why guilty pleasure? Because it is quite a sudden and unexpected detraction from what they would normally put out. Less edgy, more "commercialized". But because it is as you say "euphoric" and catchy, it stuck to us anyway. But in the beginning, long-time fans puzzled at the sudden pop-y turn of a BTS title track. It took a while before people realized or came to understand that it was deliberate, in conforming to Carl Jung's individuation theory of the _Persona,_ the social face an individual presents to the world-"a kind of mask, designed on the one hand to make a definite impression upon others, and on the other to conceal the true nature of the individual". I'll stop right here because the BTS exploration of the self continues in their latest album, Map of the Soul:7. Yeah they delve quite deeply into philosophical stuff and I'm sure I'm doing a piss-poor job in explaining it.... Anyway, another awesome reaction.
