I remember seeing I.M said that the lyrics shouldn't be taken literally, but more metaphorically. The whole song is about coping with loneliness and denying that you need people, when you really crave intimacy. It's worth mentioning that there's people on the floor together while he's on the bed by himself, looking pretty sad and desperate. "Kiss me down till I'm naked" could mean that he wants to be vulnerable and emotionally "naked" with people, but goes back and forth between saying "I don't need you" and "I need you". It goes with the meaning of Duality, where you can say you're okay but you really aren't on the inside. Leave it to I.M to make a song that's so real and relatable.

I know we’re all freaking out over “kiss me down till I’m naked” for obvious reasons, but I interpret it as also meaning to be laid bare and having nothing to hide. Changkyun really did put his soul into this track, and that’s not easy to do on the large stage he has. As sexy as this song is, I also hope he has his people nearby to give him hugs because GOD DAMN I was wrecked by this picture he paints of either his life or the character he’s presenting. You always are who you are I.M, throwing your heart down takes nerve and I’m so grateful for your voice

The fact is: every artist has their own struggles. And with I.M isn't different. He's really brave to speak out about mental health, addiction and love. @@kaitlindawson7309 For me, it can be interpreted in a lot of ways, like addiction to drugs, and this is causing abstinence (he's shaking hands here - 1:51) and hallucinations, or addiction to someone (and he seems to be suffering from that situation). Those are important issues which are part of the human nature (after all, we all had any kind of addiction at some moment of our lives).

I love how this song leaves you with ambiguous feeling. It's sexy and sorta danceable, but at the same time it's deep and dark (especially if you read the lyrics). Anyways, I think it's freaking amazing, way to go I.M!
