A beautiful car and I know it's a good buy. We had a Toyota Revo in the Philippines back in 2015. It was used when we bought it but it is still being driven today. I love the stress-free, care-free life in the Philippines, thanks for sharing guys.

Good news that the Montero is repairable for a reasonable cost and congratulations on the new Toyota. What made you pay extra for the white pain instead of getting the standard metallic yellow version? I must have misunderstood. I thought you said you were getting a small car. I had envisioned a small sedan. But it's another car similar to the Mitsubishi Montero. Those extended family get togethers are something i really miss. My mother's family had 13 siblings so we had many of them nearby. We would gather at my grandparents almost every weekend. There was a big celebration every summer in July with about 600-700 people. It was awesome as a kid.

I miss those parties in the Philippines. I hosted several parties at my house in Luna before; some catered, some where the family did the cooking. I'm a Mazda driver myself, but I think Toyota is a very good choice. Now let's hope that Jane is a good learner and doesn't damage it while practising. 😃 Good luck with your new car, my friends! Jane bought the car and put it in your name? Now, THAT is love. And trust, but love mostly. Lol. Great car, guys. My sister also bought a Toyota Innova Zenix a couple of weeks ago from a Toyota dealership owned by my cousin in Batangas City. They said it's a limited edition. Not a lot of Toyota dealers have it in their display room. Was surprised to see one displayed there. You can never go wrong with a Toyota. You should've visited their maintenance/service area, usually the whole basement floor with all state-of-the-art equipment and machines. Enjoy the new baby, my friend and drive safe.

Nice, my wife and I do the same thing and just rent the whole trike. I always hit my head or banged my legs if I sat in the front of those trikes. During covid we actually lived close to you in Barangay Luna on 3rd street. We are back in the states for now though until our boys get through school.

Nice new car. I looked at a new raize there at ormoc Toyota about 2 months ago...nice small SUV, I ended up coming across and buying a very low kilometer second hand Toyota Vios on trip to Cebu but the raize turbo is a good choice for roads here in ormoc and Leyte island.

Congrats on your nice car. 😂 we had a Toyota Prius that lasted for 13 years with over 100,000 miles but one spring day, a deer crossed the road and collided with our car. We were okay but the accident killed the deer and damaged our car. In the US, a car depreciates in value so fast. Our car has absolutely no value because of its age. But since the car has n mechanical problem, we just kept it.

😊Adam, how much is the the fare by tricycle from your house to the car dealer where you bought your car. Here in .Chicago where I live, it’s $2.50 one ride, if you need a transfer that’s another $2.50 whether it’s far or two blocks away. It goes to show how much you are able to save in the PH, same with food and groceries, it’s so bad in the U.S., the rents are even higher here. Can’t wait to go back home and stay there for good,

I live in Chicago too and used to take public transportation, have a Ventra card so when you do 2 transfer to another bus or a CTA train it is free. PACE buses charge 30 cents per transfer. It’s better to own a car here in Chicago. I saved a lot of money since I purchased a used Toyota Prius for only $4k, I drove it for 4 years now with no problems in the summer and winter, very economical car, can get 50 mpg. Cost me only $40 a month for my gas taking me from point A to B.

My American wife went back to the USA in 1966 to work. She returned in 1969 -- and with her savings, she bought a brand new VW 1200 Beetle for Php 9,957. She didn't know how to use a stick-shift, so I did the driving. After 39 years, I sold it for Php 30,000. Because I was too old to stick shift We then bought a car with automatic transmission.
