Quick release seat clamp is only needed if you are sharing the bike with people of differing heights. Otherwise, it is much more secure to just tighten it with a wrench.

I sail right up hills on this bike! I also love that it's light enough for me to handle and lift up to put on my bike rack. Plus I got it during an amazing sale in July 2023 for $999

Great review! The included phone mount works well on an ideal phone case when allowed to set up for about 24 hours.

Gorilla glue sucks for plastic JB weld has a new product out called JB weld plastic. It dries in a tan color but it works.

The instructions tell you to let the piece that sticks to your phone for 24 hours BEFORE clicking it into mount thing on bike. It failed due to your error unless it was 24 hours between opening the box and your ride.

I just wish they didn't not use apple app for bike, a larger headlamp and the holder for your phone was much more premium.

What do you think about this bikes sensor and motor combo and "feel"? I got this bike a couple weeks ago and I've noticed the motor likes to "surge" a bit and add power too easily and at times when not wanted or expected with just light turns of the pedal. Did you find that to be the case in your time with it? It really doesn't act like any torque sensor bike I've ever been on (not in a good way). It makes me wonder if it really is a Torque Sensor -- or just a really cheap/bad one? Thank you

I did notice this obviously more in the high power modes like Sport and Turbo. As a novice to the world of E Bikes I just figured it’s how the torque works! Interesting to hear that you’ve used others and it was a different experience. Thanks for the insight!

I have this bike and yea it can be a little jerky especially if I’m stopped at red light. Sometimes I want to scoot up just a bit and it jerks me forward a bit hard to fast. The last e bike I had before this one did not have a torque sensor and was DEFIANTLY worse. But yes I know what ur saying. When I know Im going to stop I just put the assist all the way down to zero and that pretty much fixed it for me. I pretend I’m driving a manual 😂

Same experience here with my ST and I own 3 other torque sensor ebikes as well and this system is definitely not as smooth as I would have hoped. It’s unfortunate because i love everything else about this bike, I just have to deal with it I guess. It’s also probably why the price went down from $1499 to the lowest I’ve seen was $1199.

@@rudycaballero9788 same here. I just power down to power off when I'm coming to a stop. I try as much as possible to ride the bike without power mode and just use the power for an extra oomph to get up hills
