This is a recreation of the old story call “The Cookie Thief” about a woman who bought cookies at an airport then went and sat down next to a random man while she waited for her flight, then every time she took a cookie for the pack, he took one too, and when there was one left he split it and gave half to her, then she got mad and threw it in his face. He then got up and left for his flight still being polite. Later on her flight she found her cookies still sitting in her back and felt terrible but she never saw him again. I remember reading that story years ago is 7th or 8th grade in English class I believe.
