I'M BACK!
It's been awhile since I've gone fishing. Now that I'm back, I'm looking forward to bringing more saltwater content. It is my first time in this new spot. I sure learned a lot from this experience. I'll definitely be back again.

Just a heads up. This is a protected cove by the California Fish and Wildlife. Without propper permission, you CANNOT fish this spot.

@@Titaniumazthere are NO exceptions, spot is off limits! I’d say best if he takes all the videos of this cove down, or just release a statement saying he effed up.

I gotta tell you, bro, I have dove dozens of those coves north of Jenner. 2 things: water is crazy on day shown- in my opinion, too dangerous for shore casting. Or diving either. 2nd thing: all the chat about lings?... Well, ling cod are not the up-to-shore species the gentleman imagines. Remember, there are one hundred and nine species of rockfish on the north coast! The one you would be far more likely to find in close, such as what one can reach from shore, casting, is, cabazone. The same TYPE of ambush predator, but inhabiting a different zone, the intertidal. Thanks, enjoyed the video.😊

Love the saltwater stuff! Go to Campbell Cove out in Bodega head. It’s the other side of that Jetty you fished before and it’s free parking.

That anchor on the rock's were for the ships that used to mine rock's from that area.

FYI - hey bro that cove starting at 7:40 thats off limits, you cannot fish there. Peep out fish legal if you're not sure. Take care

Thanks for the heads up. I found that out. I was told as long as I fish to the left or get permission, I'm good to go. Otherwise, you're right, it is a protected cove. Thanks man. Tight lines. 🤙🏼

What made you wanna fish this spot ? How would you suggest I scope out spots to rockfish

You want areas where there are rock structures. A cove like the one in the video is a great example because coves usually have great underwater rock structures. It also tends to be calmer water which makes rock fishing better. I'll make a video in the future covering your question and showing what to look for when picking a spot to rock fish. Mendos shores and bluffs and not forgiving, especially when fishing in a protected area.... maybe u shoulda put that in the the main description and not dropped it in the comments.
