Meat pies are similar to empanada , beef patties you can get those in US. I am in Canada and I can buy Mazoe , royco, chutney sauce in SA stores here

Your greeting in shona is not that bad, Tatenda must teach you. Most Zimbabweans will light up when they see a white person speaking shona or ndebele.
