When you stopped posting on KZfaq, I prayed for you and your family (I was worried it was an illness). I am so happy to hear you and your family are healthy and ok.🙏🏻 I have tried a little bit of face painting but would like to become a face painter. I would love to see basics in face painting, on the job face painting and new techniques. I would also love to see videos on house projects, workouts, and mindset. You look great, by the way! I'm also excited that you returned. I would love the paintbrush brand comparison and tutorials on speed painting or just designs that can be done in 5 minutes or less. I think it is great that you prioritize your children and family and that things have worked out for you!

Lovely to have you back. Please don’t completely stop your longer less edited tutorials. Very few people do them- or so well, especially key skills like blending solid colours without always utilising split cakes. Both have there place. I still return a decade later & rewatch. I love your calm manner & detailed work & teaching without the overwhelm of changing graphics & distracting background music. Please keep some in, it’s clearly a strength in your particular style & unique approach. Plus you hit the UK on Valentine’s Day! Such a lovely time to hear from you. 🥰🎨🖌️

Things have changed - Fusion paints, Superstar making rainbow cakes and one strokes, facepainters having their own line of brushes, Milena's stencils, Arjah's one strokes for half inch brushes. Would love to hear what changes you can see after your break.

OMG. So glad your back. I actually live in the Sierra's not far from your old stomping grounds ... and I know (and sometimes work with) Judy! So fun to hear you mention her. I'm kind of a recluse and don't usually post so ... I always thought our paths would cross so I could tell you in person but since they havent ... YOU were so instrumental in making me a face painter that I just want to thank you. THANK YOU!!! When I first started 13-14 years ago I came to your videos not just for the techniques, tools, and speed but also the real life things that can and do happen out there in the field (and what to do when they do) AND also the interaction and nurturing of the children which is what the deeper meaning to this is all about. Making them feel special ... even when they wiggle and have snot and lice and, and, and.... Anyhow, one thing that was so very VERY helpful in your videos (more than many other videos at the time) is when you would make a mistake and then show what to do to still pull off an awesome look. Because things happen out there and we need to know what to do when they do. When we are at a festival, we can't just wipe it all off (if the stencil smears or the sweat slides it as it's going on) ... I can't start over or rewind the video, we can't just turn off the wind or the rain or the excessive heat, or grab a tool not in our kit. So that was always a blessing watching your videos. I've already worked through a lot of that but I'm still always learning from others on how they work through situations ... it's ongoing. I'd love more fast-but-awesome designs for festivals with long lines, dealing with all kinds of weather and circumstances. And because I have a picture board, I never fully understood how to implement "line busters" when they weren't already on the sign, the kids had already chosen the time-consuming designs so just having awesome super-fast ones already on the board really helped but you taught me also to have ones that can be basic (if I need to stop), or more details or even more details if I do have time to add the extra stuff. Now thanks to velcro I can change out the photos on the fly if the line starts to get too long but knowing what to do to add to a basic design (when I have time) has been a Godsend. Being ok with imperfections and actuallly making them work for me. I'm currently making bling for the festivals coming up ... but don't want to be spending all my home time creating bling so if you have any ideas on how to be faster at doing that, that's something of interest. AND how to make the painted designs and application of the bling faster at the festivals so that it's worth it to spend all that time at home creating them. Otherwise, why am I doing it if it just slows me down in the field. How to limit the number coming back to say they fell off or broke (which takes time to stop and fix). Everything I do at a huge festival must be super fast. Several of the vendors are also having trouble this last year in particular (since the updates) with Square Reader and AT&T glitching and slowing down transactions or dropping them altogether so that has also been an issue of late. Yes, I'm here for the face painting but we are all well-rounded individuals so I'd also love to see your home redecorating stuff (which I also tinker with in my spare time. What spare time? LOL.) and your workout stuff. You're too young but "after menopause" fitness is what I'm currently seeking personally but I think learning what you're doing, especially with "mindset", might apply to everyone and it always helps to see what others are also struggling or thriving with. And I'm a mom (with one in college and one still in high school who has been painting at festivals with me for the last 3 years) and a wife so all that is all good topics for me. I've always struggled with depression as well so just give whatever you want and some of us will probably relate. Oh, and I've dabbled with the idea of doing videos but not sure I want to go there (I like to hide from the lime light ... not to mention how time consuming it can be and don't know anything about editing programs, cameras, etc). Maybe you'd want to share how to do some of that and the problems/solutions ... behind the scenes or how to? Just a thought.

Welcome back! I miss tutorials so much. As someone who picked up face paint for my family and not for profit, I liked the elaborate looks because I learned new techniques. I would love this to stay a face paint channel. It'll also keep viewers less confused if you separate health and fitness or decor. My favorite work out videos are music, no voice with subtitles for instructions. Ultimately, do what you think you can manage and it's nice seeing you back ❤

Great video! Fun to see your enthusiasm for all these things! I bet you could teach some really great things about marketing for face painters, and I’d love to see that too! Also, just something to think about: I think KZfaq prefers channels with a clear topic and focus. You may do better with the algorithms if you have 3 channels and promote them within each other for those interested, but keep fitness, interior designs, and face painting separated so KZfaq still understands what you do for search results and stuff. I’d hate to see your content get buried. 💕

Definitely wanna see a house tour and your workout vids but definitely would prefer your face paint side- it's awesome faith want you to train her, maybe do vids where you train her too? Maybe have the boys as the models and maybe do a paint off battle once faith is trained. That could be fun 🤣 But literally anything to do with your face paint side of things if you wanna film it, go for it! Maybe the ghosting, I've seen pics of others work but not many videos covering it. Wouldn't mind balloon twist vids too, as the boys want to learn that maybe do vids involving them as you teach them? I definitely prefer the longer videos myself over shorts 🙂 It would be really cool with the family legacy thing you mentioned with the kids, so exciting, they can help you on busier jobs and take over when you retire, how cool would that be! Lisa- you taught me to face paint with your channel when I was a young teen. I learned so, so much from you and now am 23 and still at it!! I’ve painted markets, festivals, birthday parties and more since then and your content was hugely inspiring to me. Glad to see you again :) while I’m not face painting full time, I’ve considered making the leap several times and am hopeful one day I will!

I think it's great that you want to help other professional face painters, but as someone who is not a professional just paints my own face for events, please do not underestimate how much your intricate detailed videos help people like me! I don't want or need simple designs that I can paint on a hundred faces for money, I want cool and unusual detailed patterns that I can paint on myself and make people go "wow!" And you are one of the best at doing that in my opinion and it's why I followed you all those years ago ❤ (It's obviously totally your choice which demographic you cater to, I just thought I'd share my thoughts, because I think you are great at what you do and I don't want you to totally discount the people whose job or hobby is to do a few intricate designs rather than a large volume of simpler ones!)

Lisa! Welcome back. I actually started painting during the pandemic to bring my children a bit of happiness. Yours were some of the tutorials I watched to learn. Now I am trying to go professional. I guess from my perspective I would love to see videos on what to know about making the switch from hobby to pro. Also if you have any ideas for an alternative to the craft and go, I can't justify investment right now but I need an event- friendly kit. So happy to see you are thriving.
