Daisy came to Kenya as a refugee from Uganda at the age of three back in 1987. For 34 years, she's lived and worked in Kenya. Kenya is the only home she knows, but now the government wants her out! To where? She asks. She's been given just days to leave the country and she doesn't know what to do! She narrated her journey and predicament to ‪@SharedMomentswithJustus‬ and here's that conversation.

That's racism at its core but compared to the Polish and Bulgarians who don't like foreigners in their countries, they happen to have emigrated everywhere in Europe... That lady should not have to apologise for being a Citizen of the World (at least that's what I call my self if someone brings that nonsense on me....tuff s**t if you don't like the air I breath in...We all going to die someday including all those Dictators around the world) Even the Pharaohs of Egypt who were buried with their savants when still alive never came back to claim what they assumed theirs for eternal life! That lady's demise is due to the fact Uganda's Museveni wanted to rule East African community as KING and all the other dictators are also tired of him and now the blowback on the innocent people as it's always been. I may be wrong to assume that it may be also be linked to someone in High office whose advances she turned down (I mean she's beautiful...) and now trying to ruin her life. Am sorry I don't mince my words when it comes to human rights. Everyone lives and dies sometime and there should be no any pre-conditions... Anyone who doesn't believe me should ask Joseph Stalin and Hitler or even Mugabe... And did someone say Museveni...? Yes... We're all gonna die!!

I hope something can be do be done to help her. She was brought to Kenya as a child, by someone who was fighting for her children. As much as there are immigration laws, she deserves a chance as a Kenyan. All she's contributed to +254, she looks and sounds like one of us.

Kenyan citizenship is not easy to get! I doubt you've heard of quite a number of rich mzungus who've been given a very rough ride getting citizenship despite marrying Kenyan citizens and some even living in Kenya for years. My dear Daisy is not being honest. Daisy has been going to Uganda using Ugandan passport. She even went to high school in Uganda while claiming to be a refugee in Kenya. A refugee doesn't go back to there own country using the same passport. Daisy was a violent woman towards her son's father, work colleagues, friends even she use to bring nannies from Uganda beat them and chase them in the middle of the night. Daisy's mother a retired nurse moved back to Uganda in 2017, bought a land while renting a very expensive accommodation. She has since returned and hiding in kenya and leaving a landlord with millions of shillings of unpaid rent. Daisy's brother born in kenya recently returned back home in Uganda and from my understanding he's a wanted boy in kenya for a crime committed. Daisy should return back home and get the right visa. Someone is about to be exposed. Kenyan government knows best. I have contacted the immigration with the receipts. Attention seeker as always

I feel for you from the the bottom of my heart . This is typical of our African countries. I went through the same thing . I was born in Zambia from Tanzanian parents who had lived in Zambia till death. I went through so much pain with acquiring my Zambian citizenship. I was 56 years old when I was finally given my Zambian citizenship. The corruption in our African countries stinks and yet some of these same people who work in these organisations profess to be “Christians “. This is very sad. I hope your story will be heard by the president and maybe he might intervene in your case. Meanwhile please don’t give up on your fight for the sake of your son. That child is Kenyan since his father is Kenyan. It’s sad to see how we Africans treat our own fellow African brothers and sisters. We serve a God who sees and hears. Shame on those people who scammed you of your money. God will deal with them unless they repent. God bless you and your son.

Based on her grounds I believe she has "automatically or naturally " qualified for Kenyan citizenship by naturalization. Even her English accent's is Kenyan. She's a Kenyan. The east African governments should make this work if they mean about east African community as a regional or block to benefit its people.
@Muthonie
@Muthonie 2 жыл бұрын
Sadly, she registered as a refugee and is not viable for naturalization. She is under the UN high commissioner for refugees and cannot be registered as a Kenyan legally. She can live here but not gain identify documents. Her parents messed her up with the registration
@Nikki790
@Nikki790 2 жыл бұрын
@@Muthonie i think anything done by a human error can be corrected if her case can be heard by a sane sober person, which we all as Kenyans complain about. We can only pray and trust God to see her through. Also the man who had married her needs to be exposed. He married her regardless was officially or not she has a right to get her papers through him.
@Muthonie
@Muthonie 2 жыл бұрын
@@Nikki790 I understand your view but I'm objectively saying that she has intentionally gotten a Ugandan ID and is still registered as a refugee and wishes to be a Kenyan and earn Kenyan citizenship, that's an immigration offense. She's exposing herself and could get arrested while looking for sympathy on the internet. Fact is, nationality laws cannot be bent. No court can subjectively change them or go around them. You cannot plead to be a citizen of a different country by the fact that you don't fit into your original country even with a government issued passport from that country. Feelings aside, she cannot have an alien card, a Ugandan passport and a Kenyan ID/passport. It is not possible. She messed herself up and is exposing herself by providing evidence for immigration offense. At this point no one can help her labda internet sympathy tu. Ni ukweli tu.

@Muthoni there is a Human-Rights if you live in a country as a refugee without any Interview after 5 years you get a human-right visa. Which after another 5 yrs you entitled to own a citizenship of the country.. she’s a Kenya.. by law…
@Muthonie
@Muthonie 2 жыл бұрын
@@nyaxjosh that's for refugee status determination interview. She already has an alien card. She was advised to reject her refugee application, go back to Uganda and come back as a foreigner but does not want to settle on her Ugandan nationality. She also returned to her country of origin and applied for a Ugandan passport and thus registering as a Ugandan citizen in 2009 this is almost 20 years after her refugee registration meaning she willingly accepted Ugandan nationality. She cannot get a Kenyan ID or passport as a Ugandan passport holder and an alien card too. It's simple law. Her wishes are not legally binding. Not fitting in because there are jobs in Kenya is not a legal point to seek nationality. Living in a country while possessing nationality of a different country doesn't automatically give you status in that land. Read the laws of every country before planting your roots there. She is simply choosing not to her God given options unlike stateless people who have no government issued documents, IDs or legal recognition in the country they live in. Those can apply for nationality but not someone with one already.
