Nah Lola deserves it. We see this from the mc's POV but since it's a story. Something like this would not be taken likely and even AFTER the whole situation is cleared it'll still have a terrible impact on their rep. Lola did it out of jealousy. Although she understood that she was wrong it was still a crime. But yeah I agree it turned out great. Lola is a good person but envy over took her and that's understandable since her whole life was turned upside down due to her father not taking up his responsibilities.

I really understand Lola. It hurts when you have to grow up early and sacrifice everything: your life, your dreams, your goals - for the sake of your family and your younger siblings, and then watch them have everything that you will never have. And the worst thing is that you cannot be angry with anyone but yourself. Carly's story "A Story of Living in the Shadows" showed what would happen if you choose yourself and follow your dreams. But, unfortunately, there are more stories like Lola’s.

Lola is sympathetic character and one that most suffered in this story the thought of giving away your dreams while your younger sibling is living your life is sad. Also i love how Ben didn't get upset or yealled at Cece when she thought he had broke up with her but kindly explained what was going on and showed that he cares about her. He is super friendly, kind, sweet, fun and brave they belong together❤❤
