If you were stuck in a nightly rut....how did you get out of it? Would love some suggestions :)

My little granddaughter was sitting on my lap watching with me. Oh my goodness, when Maxie and Pollux came on the screen she just started bouncing and giggling. She loves dogs. She has two at home. She was loving it every time Maxie and Pollux came on. She's only nine months old, but she knew that was puppy's lol great video I love puzzles.

I love you two. That is how a relationship should be. You are a great example to us all to get out there and do different things instead of getting in a rut which is so easy to do. As someone that doesn't live in America either, I have to admit I was curious to see the inside of Walmart. Thankyou for taking us!

We owned a Black and Tan dachshund who insisted on examining all of the Walmart bags for treats. The first time he did this I had left all of the bags on the kitchen floor and had to run to the bathroom. I came back to the kitchen to him pulling stuff out of the bags until he found his treats. He was trying to open the bag to get to the treats! Really miss that little guy.

Okay girl we have to get you to St. Louis where you can go to the schafly (pronounced shaff-lee) bottleworks which is your coffee stout is made and then get you to the puzzle warehouse where your mind will just explode with the variety of puzzles and games. They have a puzzles that has over ten thousand pieces. Pollux and Maxine helped by not helping. Good puppies and cute as well. So glad you love my favorite coffee stout as well.

Game night! My husband and I used to do game night every week (we don't have children) and we got out of the habit. That's something we may have to start doing again. That looked like fun. We sit around at night with the TV on (for noise) and read. So we need to start doing something fun together. The most fun I ever had with a game was Pictionary. I don't know that they still make that, but we had friends over for dinner and after dinner, we broke out Pictionary. None of the four of us could draw worth a darn and that only made it more fun. The other women in our group got "hot cross buns" and I've never laughed so hard at her trying to draw hot cross buns. We finally got "hot" and "cross", but she kept trying to draw a picture of a butt and it just wasn't happening. It was so much fun and we all just laughed and laughed. As for jigsaw puzzles, with two cats, I'll probably have to content myself with jigsaw puzzles on my phone!! We'd get all kinds of "help".

I'm from Baltimore and worked for the B&O RR. Through mergers we all landed in Jax with CSX, but the Paducah people were from the L&N RR.

Oh, game night with nibblies & cocktails ... YAYYY!!!! Card games are great: Euchre, gin rummy, crazy eights, hearts, blachjack, cribbage, spades, canasta, crazy eights. My favourite being canasta, I have played some euchre & others but no cribbage. Even 'tile rummy' is great fun with two people and I have gone long into the night playing either canasta or tile rummy; regular dominos, yahtzee and scrabble are also good. Puzzles - oh, yeah. Over the years I have had great fun with puzzles have now moved to the 500 & 1000 pieces and make no mistake about it, they are challenging. You both were awesome at the 300 in two hours! The boys are so adorable welcoming you back with their beautiful faces Mooey with his bandana and Pollux just smiling for the camera and later on as they cuddled with you.

Mexican Train Dominoes is so much fun. My Mom, age 90, always has a 1200 piece puzzle set up. When family and friends come to visit they are always drawn to the puzzle and stay to work on it.

Renee, Grew up doing puzzles. I used to put them in rows by type of piece, 2, 3 and 4 nips. My cat would really want to help with puzzle by laying on it. Have never seen the Rubik cube game but am going to look for it. My husband and I have become empty nesters, find ourselves on our phones since I don't watch much tv. Randy is so cute, almost like he's shy.

I have a co-worker who, pre-pandemic, always had a jigsaw puzzle in progress on a table beside her desk; anyone walking by was welcome to put together a few of the pieces. We don't do it often enough but I love game night! Our current go to is called Five Crowns, it's a card game that plays a little like rummy. We've played Mexican trail dominos for years and it's a family favorite. Glad y'all enjoyed your evening!

Mexican Train is our go to for game night. Can be played with only two people, but more is better. Then there's rummy which has many versions, love rummy. Don't forget backgammon!

On the boardgames front we enjoy sequence a lot and there is a game for multiple players called codenames and they came out with a 2 person version called Codenames Duet. As for a nightly rut, we are definitely in one. But between work and being tired and needing to be safe we don't get out much except with friends at homes. We usually watch something not stressful on the brain. Weekends we may pick something new on Netflix or Prime that requires attention. During the day on weekends we take the dogs for a hike or go to our local zoo. And we go camping to get away. We enjoy our rut because it is low stress after high stress days. And that's ok.

Renee, if theres an Aldi in Paducah, check out their chocolate covered blueberries. They are better than Brookside. My husband didn't believe me but once he tried them, he admitted they were better. Love your hair up...so cute!!!

Renee, You might want to reconsider buying Mexican Train domino game. I think you thought it was too much to pay, but it is a quality game that will last. It is really fun and you can play with only two - up to 8 players. You can order on Amazon for less. Love everyone of your videos!

I love the game upward it is like scrabble but you put the tiles on top of each other you have to have at least one that's already did you leave it's in the word and you run the word differently fun gets the game and check it out cause I really enjoy it scrabble is too intense which was recommended to me
