Hello myworks, I have seen all your videos, it is very relaxing to watch you refurbish/repair these machines. I have noticed that you only deal in DeLonghi, I own a Breville Barista Touch that I bought from US and now have been positioned abroad in a 220volts region. I was wondering if you would do a 110v to 220v conversion on a machine instead of using a step up/down transformer?

Hello, thanks for the great words. I started with DeLonghi but will also repair other brands in the future. I think I would not convert because there are other components installed besides the transformer that probably do not fit. For example the heater, water pump, solenoid valves and maybe the software !? LG

I have this model. ECAM23450. FROM 2011..and almost used every day since. I have done very little maintenance, but I watched your video and was inspired to take apart the infuser and clean and grease it. I really like this machine. But I see the new Primadonna Soul.. it looks cool. Do you think that the new Primadonna Soul is much better than ECAM23450? To me it looks like it is very similar internally like my old machine 🙂

The construction is essentially the same but has been improved in a few places. The ceramic grinder, touchscreen, drive motor, drip tray concept and the removable coffee spout are new. I think the coffee maker has been slightly improved.

Brilliant Video @myworks I have the ECAM 23.450 which i have yet to find out why the water is going straight to the drip tray and the grounds end up in the bin. I suspect it is something with the generator/infuser. Do you perhaps know where I can get a schematic diagram with all the part numbers? Keep up the great work!

The adjustable opv is not available on the model. This machine has a solenoid valve.

The Gaggia Accademia is a very nice coffee machine, and its design seems well thought out. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the reliability of the device as I have not used it yet. I believe the machine is built by Saeco and matches their reliability.

@@yt.myworks Thank you. Philips onws both Gaggia and Saeco. Can you please tell me if the Saeco Superautomatic coffee machines are as reliable as those made by Delonghi? My ECAM 23.450s made over 20.000 coffees before needing to be repaired due to a water leak. Edit. According to Reddit, the Gaggia Accademia 2022 is similar to the Saeco Xelsis Deluxe and Supreme: "The difference between the academia and the Xelsis are the academia has a steam wand and carafe, cup warmers and a smaller screen. The 240v European Academia has dual thermal blocks for the same price (the US version does not). Both machines have the same parts and software with slightly different verbage on the software." What do you think?

Hi, as I mentioned before, I really like the Italian design of the Accademia. That’s why I looked into the machine about a year ago. The exterior build quality seems excellent and impressed me a lot. I would definitely choose the Accademia over the Xelsis, as a large display doesn’t make the coffee any better. However, I don’t think these aforementioned coffee machines are more reliable than those from DeLonghi. For this reason, I recommend checking out the DeLonghi Primadonna Soul ECAM610.75.MB if it’s available in your country. It’s a well-designed and robust machine that also makes excellent coffee.

Hallo, tolle Videos!!! Ich habe eine Frage : Zu welchem Element geht das Röhrchen, dass du im Video in Minute 7:15 montierst? ich meine das Ende, was man nicht sieht und ins innere des Gerätes geht 🙂. Und gibt es irgendwo Explosionszeichnungen, die helfen das zu erkennen, wenn man sein Gerät auseinander baut? Ich habe eine ecam 26.455.b die etwas zickt und die ich reparieren muss. Wäre prima!! Danke

Hallo, der Teflonschlauch geht nach unten zum Brühgruppenschlitten. Das ist die Aufnahme für die herausnehmbare Brühlgruppe (befestigt mit zwei Inbus Schrauben). Explosionszeichnung habe ich keine gefunden, du musst stattdessen viele Bilder machen. Tipp: halte die Schrauben und Kleinteile separat je nach dem was du gerade auseinander baust d.h. Brühgruppe oder Gehäuseteile alles in einer extra Box. Das hilft sehr beim Zusammenbau.

@@yt.myworks ok, danke - ich habe mittlerweile Explosionszeichnungen von verschiedenen Geräten, auch 26.455.mb gefunden. Falls du Interesse hast, kann ich dir einen Tipp geben oder dir auch etwas direkt zukommen lassen. Das Problem meiner 26.455.mb Maschine ist, dass beim Kaffeebrühen Wasser in die Abtropfschale geht und auch dass kein Cappuccino/Milchschaum/Dampf funktioniert. Ich habe sie so schon geschenkt bekommen, im Testmodus werden alle Ventile korrekt angesteuert. Man hört nur ein rhythmisches pumpen, aber nichts passiert. Falls du einen Tipp für mich hättest, woran das liegen könnte und ich reinigen oder tauschen sollte, wäre ich sehr dankbar. LG

@crayzyhors der Feind Nr. 1 aller Kaffeeautomaten ist der Kalk. Ich vermute eine Verkalkung und vielleicht eine defekte Dichtung im oberen Brühkolben. Was den Dampf betrifft hier könnte ein Solenoidventil Probleme machen. Grüße

@@yt.myworks ich habe dir die Unterlagen via Mail gesendet. Ich hoffe, du kannst es brauchen. Komischerweise sehe ich aber am Brühkolben auf der Zeichnung auch nur 2 Röhrchen. Den ins innere sehe ich auf der Zeichnung auch nicht. Bezüglich des Ventils, ich habe noch nicht ganz verstanden welches Ventil für welchen Zweck genutzt wird, kannst du das erläutern? Es gibt ja zwei 2 Wegeventile (links unten und vorne) und ein Dreiwegeventil (hinter dem Dampferhitzer). Vielen Dank für deine Hilfe.

Cześć, Myworks. Przejrzałem wszystkie Twoje filmy i nie tylko. Niestety nie udało mi się rozwiązać problemu z moim delonghi cappuccino, który polega na tym, że większość wody ląduje w tacy retencyjnej. Jak tam trafia? Przez czarny wąż spustowy podłączony do zaworu trójdrożnego (górny elektrozawór, obok grzałki parowej). W efekcie po włączeniu, w trakcie cyklu płukania nawet kropla nie popłynie z dozownika kawy. Po uruchomieniu cyklu parzenia kawy, dużo wody idzie w tacę, mało do kubka. Jak już ekspres postoi i zrobi się gorący, wtedy całość wody idzie w tacę... Wymieniłem wspomniany elektrozawór i niestety diagnoza była błędna, bo problem nie ustąpił. Odnoszę wrażenie, że coś puszcza w tłoku zaparzacza, ponieważ po zaślepieniu wężyka teflonowego prowadzącego do ww. zaworu, zarówno płukanie jak i dozowaniem kawy przebiega prawidłowo, tzn. 100% wody idzie w kubek :) Pomóż proszę, bo jestem w kropce...

Witam, musisz sprawdzić wężyk po wężyku (kierunek biegu wody) aby ustalić w którym miejscu jest zatkane zaczynając od wspomnianego elektrozaworu. W tym celu włóż koniec wężyka do butelki żeby woda nie dostala się na elektronikę. Sprawdź również drożność samych węży teflonowych, czasami osadza się w nich kamień. W ostateczności należałoby sprawdzić górny tłok czy funkcjonuje prawidłowo. Życzę powodzenia.

@@yt.myworks Na wstępie, dzięki za odpowiedź. Sprawdziłem już drożność węży etap po etapie i było ok. Potwierdza to też fakt, że spienianie mleka, czyszczenie spieniacza, czy też dystrybucja wyłącznie gorącej wody przez obwód spieniacza funkcjonuje prawidłowo. Wspominasz o tłoku zaparzacza/infuzora. Kojarzysz może, czy w momencie płukania lub parzenia kawy woda z tego modułu powinna w ogóle wypływać w kierunku elektrozaworu trójdrożnego? Dotychczasowe obserwacje podpowiadają mi, że NIE. Niestety tak właśnie jest w moim ekspresie, który - nie wspomniałem o tym wcześniej - ma już kilka lat. Jako że siedzę nad nim teraz, zrobiłem test z infuzorem POZA ekspresem (wymaga to trochę gimnastyki, aby oszukać system). Woda w trakcie automatycznego płukania po włączeniu w całości wyciekła przez króciec wężyka łączącego infuzor z zaworem trójdrożnym. Mogło to być oczywiście spowodowane faktem, że tłok infuzora nie został dociśnięty przez dosuwajacy się blok zaparzający (wszak infuzor jest poza ekspresem). Daje to jednak pewien obraz sytuacji. Może po prostu oringi po latach stwardniały i puszczają...

@@yt.myworks Jaana sprawa, jeżeli nie miałeś do czynienia z identycznym przypadkiem, to ciężki temat :) Zrobię dziś jeszcze test po usunięciu sprężyn z infuzera. Zobaczymy, gdzie poleci woda po "ściśnięciu" tłoka.

I have a similar device, but the water pump decided recently to keep working regardless of lack of water in the container. Is the water level sensor responsible 5:34 or it or is this another part? Great assembly, very informative. That said, parts must have costed a small fortune :)

I swapped out my water tank which fixed my problem. Magnet in float had lost it's strength. If you stick something non-conducting like the tab of a water tank into the slot of the machine to rid the 'insert tank' message, then use a powerfulish magnet along the bottom of the machine where the tank magnet float would go, you should be able to activate the reed 'fill tank' sensor. If so, new ecam tank 13.50 delivered on ebay from a shop called wow or wowdiscount, something like that.

Elbow the letter is right. The bug has something to do with the water tank. Check if the float stays on top when the tank is empty. Then you have to clean everything up again so that it doesn't get stuck.

@@yt.myworks is the float supposed to go ALL the way down? Mine is missing like 5mm. I can't open the float container either, it's glued well and I don't want to break it.

Try moving the container back and forth without water. Who float must not get stuck. The container is not glued but difficult to open.

É uma caldeira, deve ta trancada ou com defeito, se procurar bem na net tem pra comprar.... recentemente a minha queimou o motor que prensa o café e achei na China no site em inglês pra comprar por 100,00 aqui no Brasil era 600,00 usado kkkkkk pesquisa amigo.
