Yes! Finally the long awaited living room episode of Making Home is out! This makeover has literally taken over a year and it's finally done, after a lot of ups and downs! I genuinely appreciate the fact that this isn't a one-day makeover with free, new furniture from sponsors. Instead you are doing it in real-time and sourcing second-hand items, using your platform to encourage participating in the circular economy. So important!!

That's why I always thought that you don't have to be super rich to have a million dollar look house, all you need is taste, creativity and a bit of research!! That's it, at least for me :)

I agree! I feel like this approach is a lot more typical for most people, where you want to redo a space but you don’t necessarily have the budget or items to do it’s all in one go. So you gotta wait till you find a good tv stand on fb market place that is a steal, then save some mor money and a month from them maybe you could afford a side table set from ikea or the curtains you really wanted.

In Scotland people don't tend to tip either but I always do because someone is doing me a personal service, and while we have a national minimum wage, it's quite pitiful. My parents and I live in a townhouse in Chicago, IL. We have a living room that's about your size but it has never had an actual design/style. I am so excited to tackle it this summer. They've worked so hard during COVID and I just want to thank them...so thank you for the inspiration!!!!

Honestly I appreciate how you showed that you compiled your living room. It is so much more realistic. I’m still working on my living room for two years as I slowly compile and find exactly what I want.

Yay! Glad for a new episode! So happy for your progress! I'm not gonna lie, I almost spat out my tea when the paint came off the tv wall. The editing makes your 'oops' even more hilarious. The cut to b&w is so hilarious! Loving your beautiful home! Brava!

Love that your couches name 'oma' actually is the german word for grandma! This name would be a better fit for that floral tempory sofa though (which I honestly quite love)

This is a realistic makeover for young people furnishing a home for the first or second time! It takes so much longer than just a weekend of decorating. Finding the perfect pieces, putting it all together, decorating, making sure it’s in your budget, and balancing life. It takes months. Love this.

I am so happy that Kelsey took her time to do the space..like she didn't rush it or think about how she should maybe finish it fast..due to whatever reasons.. Whenever I do a creative project my mom and everyone push me to finish it faster and then never tend to understand that it does take time..so I am glad that Kelsey is taking her time in doing this and is also doing a freakinnnnnn amazing job..❤️
