Very true. This call proves what Dave Ramsey always talks about is correct. ALL debt has stress attached to it. So even 15K in cc debt can stress out someone who makes 70K a year. No matter how strong the chains are, you are still a slave and it affects you mentally and physically when you have debt.

Inflation has a greater impact on people's cost of living than a crashing stock or housing market, resulting in an immediate and tangible effect. This explains the current high level of negative market sentiment, and our need for assistance in surviving this challenging economy. The financial markets have underperformed due to fears of inflation, causing stock and bond prices to plummet. Despite sounding basic, consulting a financial advisor has enabled me to outperform the market and achieve a profit of $850,000 since June 2022, making it the ideal approach to enter the financial markets today.

The whole real estate field is full of crooks. They will never fully disclose all the info regarding mortgages. Many lenders don't ever mention yearly home assesments or additional taxes...and before anyone says "you should have done your research, you should have asked questions" you can't ask what you don't know! I'd like to use that same logic when you go to the doctor and are expected to know everything too.

The numbers sound about right on that. If that's the case, Tito could have gotten their insurance company to duke it out with the hospital. Possibly still could. Being in credit card debt is like investing your money into the stock market with a -20% return. No one would ever do it. And as soon as your credit card debt is paid off it's essentially as if you're now gaining 20% returns in the stock market.

@@eggsinsideme I assure most homeowners are in the verge of being homeless If that's the case. If the state decides to increase taxes, guess what happens if you don't pay? If you live in an area that has laws and fines you for not keeping the property up, guess what happens if you don't pay? There's almost a guarantee you'll have to put a couple thousands dollars yearly into it for one reason or another, if you can't keep it up what you thought was an asset is a depreciating liability. What if the car goes down and you're not in a metropolitan area, you just decide to walk it out or get a new whip? Got kids? Better post the OSHA guidelines throughout the house because one medical emergency ruins everything I pull $4K/month on my own. I know exactly what I'm saying. $6K/month ain't enough. If I had an extra 2,000 coming in monthly I'm getting a nicer apartment not taking on a bunch of dumb debts

People are really harsh. You don’t know the details of why people are in the difficult situations they are in. I wasn’t raised to know anything about budgeting, meal planning, how debt works etc. I had to learn and learn and learn again. The hard way. I also have a rare genetic disorder that makes things harder for me than most people. Not everyone is blessed with the same knowledge and abilities that you have and a little grace towards others goes a long way.

I wonder if he could go to a debt consumer counseling and get the interest stopped and pay them off for 24 months. I don't know if they do that in Texas , they do that in California. That's what they did with me. Actually I have never heard Dave talk about Credit Consumer counselors and just realized that. Although it was a long time ago I had around 4000 in credit card debt , went to their agency and they had all my interest stopped and charged me 171 for 2 years and my debt was gone. I don't know if they still do that but it was like 20 years ago. Prevents bankruptcy but they told me it does put a notation on your credit report and you can't get any new credit for 2 years while your in the program. But they get rid of your interest charges. So I really was pleased with it.
