Commented yesterday about this exact problem, Target employee brought me the only hot wheel in back stock and it was the Super Treasure Hunt Renault.

So much of that goes on up here, reports made, nothing happens. Actually glad to hear that

I found the muscle and blown treasure hunt today at my local store in an open box with about 12 cars left inside.

Honestly I'm not surprised that target employee was stashing certain items in the back to resale on line. Half the dudes on ebay are employees resaling these items for twice the price. This has been going on for a while. Great video man.

Not sure if that was worth being labeled a "rat". Target has measures in place for things like such. He/she practices would have been brought to light, reprimanded, and that would be the end. Awesome that you got involved in said person being "fired". Smh

There is always gonna be someone either stashing stuff out back or holding cases for certain customers. Not worth trying to get someone fired over diecast. It used to annoy me as well but it is what it is. Can't get everything.

I’d love to this here in the Philippines, most of the employees here hide the good stuff and sell it for a high price to collectors.

Happens at my Walmart all the time. Employees take first dib and keeps all the good stuff, and then trash out all the fantasy and junks on the pegs. Hot wheels use to be fun and all, but it's nothing but business now.

We were in Florida last year we were in target I lifted the bottom shelf up and found few nice hot wheels and some other stuff in there.

IDC if the Hotwheels are USA or International, I am perfectly fine with it. If I am curious enough to look up what case that car came from, there's good old Google.

In Malaysia here, every store that has Hotwheels or any of these diecast cars, has their employees holding the good car for themselves or for somebody who got their contacts. No chance for a real collector to hunt anymore. I know this videos is from a year ago, but nowadays, it' getting worst and worst, especially when the manager of these stores are one of them too.

I found two Poop Cars at the Target. There are two flavors: Yellow one has #1 on the door, dark orange has #2 on the door😂. No supers but scored two poopers! Been fun but Gotta Go😄

How can you tell what case the cars are from? How do you read the codes on the back of the cards? What sequence of letters do you look at? The first letters or the last letters?

Most of the Targets and Walmarts around Seattle are "Dirty" (employee thievery). I still get the job done though.

If no one commented yet...your slot car is the Al Unser 1970 Indy car champ...and Johnny Lightning back in 1970-72 tried to compete against Hot Wheels and created a car carrying case which was the Indy Car that opened with trays ..it is huge I have one ..great find.

I found out where this collector lived that always was at dollar general and everywhere opening fresh boxes and taking everything for him so I broke into his house and now I have 46 Super treasure hunts for me.

Btw, this seems to be an ongoing problem at many stores that sell Diecast, store employees stashing stuff for themselves, or for their buddies to come in and pickup, people stealing stuff..etc. Anytime I see these types of shananagins, I will report it to management or take it a step further to corp management.

use to I use to do Hobby Lobby's when they had the coupon for 40% off one item. I reported a employee hiding TH,s at a Walley world and then only the managers could stock the die cast but that only lasted a couple months because then they had to work.
