Somehow it just takes massively more psychological energy to communicate with somebody who isn't physically there. In reality texting back is as easy as hitting a few buttons in 5 seconds, but I feel like I need to get a drink and find a quiet place to sit in for a while before I can pull out my phone and read what was said and correctly respond to it. Texts and phone calls feel like taking a test in a way that talking to people in person doesn't.

I know the EXACT feeling that Bobby is talking about. Either someone wants to talk to you and you don't feel like talking, or they say something in a way that you don't want to add to, or can't think of a reply. I always forget to txt back, and then they are mad because you "ignored" them. If they were personally here, I'd talk their head off, but I hate texting and talking on the phone

I'm the same way about texting. I think the reason is because it never ends with just one text. You'll be stuck texting someone for 2 hrs about nothing if you respond right away so its easier to respond 6 hrs later so they are less likely to text you back.

Really? see this is the main problem I have with listening to ppl like him or Theo (much prefer theo tho).. On Theo's JRE you have all sorts of ppl in the comments hating on Joe for not going along with Theo's bits (which things like the wooden shirt, were), but in reality it's two guys have a conversation, why take a fabricated story so far and present it as reality.. just say nah I'm jk. Instead you see what would happen in any normal conversation: you tell an outlandish story like it actually happened and most people are going to question it. And who wants to be friends with someone who is constantly making up literal bullshit.. ok rant over

@@erasertraceur3741 I don’t know bruz. She did leave it the reply email in the end from Chris saying something along the lines of “oh you’re 16? I’m sorry, you have to be 18 to get into my shows.. bye” I don’t know it exactly but it’s extremely similar to that

I have the same problem Bobby Lee has. Its just that I'm thinking of something else or solving a problem or working on a project when people text and i dont want to think of a reply so i just go meh ill reply later and then i forget about it all together
