I've worked for a public safety store for 4+ years, we supplied many of Police departments with the proper equipment to do their patrol duties. You can let these smaller Police departments know there is grants out there that the government issues to get these departments rifles, armor, duty gear ect. Basically free money!

I'm an EMT and dropped guy off at the hospital the other day. When the nurses got him out of his clothes and into a gown they started going through the normal procedure of going through his clothes to take inventory of his belongings (wallet, keys, phone, etc.), the nurse pulled out 5 vials of methadone and a full bottle of ambien from my dudes cargo shorts. While he was prescribed methadone, none of the vials were prescribed to him. Super fun

I live in a small community, we have a sheriff's dept and that has 4 officers in total who use there own purchased handguns for duty, carry and training. All Glock 17's, except the sheriff.. he carries a 34. They have two Vietnam era M-16s in the office, an 870 and I believe five World war II era U.S. military 1911's (All a beautiful Green finish with wooden grips), one being an original Remington, all sometime in the 80's had been "updated" with a crappy variation of beaver tail safety and ring hammer but original parts still in each case.

dumb question: Which manufacturer has the best Law enforcement deal? By this I mean by these types of deals: 1) Best bang for the buck (pun intended) - the best components for the cost. 2) Low cost goodness - the least money for something that works good enough. 3) Group buy goodness - the best discount for a police dept ordering several rifles at once. 4) Best combo - best combo of rifle, sling and decent optic offered. My state has several small mountain towns and smaller communities that have under equipped police depts. I would like to see what their options are when I start looking for funding. to be clear: I do not intend to receive any tangible thing from this, this just seems like a good idea that donut is up to.

Hope you read this donut, but I have had a bad history with police and admittedly fell for the main stream media portrayal of police, but then I discovered your channel and I've spent a LOT of time watching all of your videos, especially the police shooting statistic videos and police shooting breakdowns. You have given me a much greater respect for police and not only that, but I recently made the decision to run in to stop an armed robbery of my daily gas station, and ended up taking some gun shot wounds in the process and the officer who arrived shortly after most definitely saved my life. Unfortunately my glock is in evidence but I have a newfound respect for law enforcement thanks to both you and the officer who saved me from bleeding out. Keep up what you do! I just bought a Jericho 941 a week ago, it is an excellent gun. I like it better than my Tanfoglio Witness Elite Match, which is essentially the same gun but twice the price. If anybody's looking for a new piece, at $500-$600 new the Jericho is hard to beat.
