It’s an iconic moment in music history. I cant fathom how he managed to do such a solo live, outside, in front of such a huge audience. Great rendition!

Thanks! I totally agree. It blew my mind in 1970 when I first heard it and I find it nuts that I can probably count on one finger how many times I’ve heard it mentioned by other great guitar players since then!

@@neilphelan145 From u.k. Yes he didnt get the recognition like other guitarists. Like Clapton Beck Page, etc. I think even though these guitarists were based in the blues. Alvin had a slightly dated rock n roll style. And being 14 in 1971 me and countless others opted for Zepp, purple, sabbath, Free, Hendrix.etc. One of the best guitarists that we produced but got left behind. Just my opinion. It’s only rock n roll.

the year long effort was more about learn it in a few hours and get it close enough (!) then move on to the next day's video (365 videos in 2022) thanks for checking it out Ti
