My sermon notes for "I'm going through but I'm running over": 1.) No event should become your identity because that doesn't define you. Talk like where you come from 2.) No success makes you who you are, failure limits who you can be 3.) Declare it like you know where you come from, you are not it 4.) Adversity in the hands of God serves as an adjuster, God will allow adversity in your life to adjust you. There are things you give faith to, and adversity is simply the correction of were you place it. Growth is chosen in the spirit, not the physical 5.) Adversity will give you access. It is in all access pass to the places in God you cannot to get any other way 6.) You are going through it, but you got a grace for it. God will not let you go through what he will not give you grace for, he will you for this 7.) Show down, shut down and walk through the valley. You can't run over if you don't walk through. Appreciate the adversity, it's fertilizer 8.) The trials that you are going through is pointing to the thing that you are going to be over run with. The presence of an adversity does not mean the absence of God. You don't have to run, your cup will overflow

6:48am Ventura Ca. 26 years in prison and 35 years of heroin addiction. Big snow fall expected for us in Avery county (Banner elk, Grandfather Mountain area) this weekend whoop whoop 😒 thank you for your word of experience and all of us are currently experiencing. I'm in the valley of the shadow experiencing the aftermath of a cardiac event with one artery 90% blocked and they stented and a 80% one blocked that we're working on with diet and exercise. While I was on the hospital bed, waiting to be discharged from the hospital, I received a phone call from a distribution company for our first full feature film project. Isn't it just like God to set up that HOPE to help me through this valley. He is good. All the time.

It's in the valley, in the middle of the ADVERSITY, that we receive our ANOINTING and our ASSIGNMENT .... After we have ACCESSED our shepherd and he has ADJUSTED our attitudes and perspective so we are in ALIGNMENT with Him. When we leave the valley we will have grown in grace, been ANOINTED for our ASSIGNMENT in the next season of our life. Each step we take ADVANCES us and others around us. We have the ADVANTAGE over the enemy if we see that the valleys, shadows and enemies are really ADVERTISEMENTS of the grace God is willing and able to give. I just want to say in nature the overflow is what breaks the drought in the desert. It brings to life the beautiful wildflowers that have lain dormant, sometimes for many years. It also flows into the cracks the sun made in the ground and turns the dry dust to clay... So may you be like flowers in their season producing seeds for the next generation. May you be like clay in the potters hands, able to be worked to softness and turned on His wheel, then fired in His kiln to produce the cup that overflows into others lives and gives God the Glory for all He has done in your life.
