The answer the little comment thing: 25% of the bracket will go 0-2 at every tournament, and 69% will have at most 2 wins. So if you just look at the numbers, 2.23x the amount of people are going home having not gotten more wins than loses, than having gotten more wins than loses. So, considering how much of a tournaments funds that is, I’d say that the 0-2 ers, matter a significant amount, and 0-2, 1-2, and 2-2ers definitely matter a whole lot.
