My black cat is named Miss Jellybean. She is quite loud, but also very loveable. She cuddles with me and the kids, but she only eats when someone is watching her. It never fails. She will just sit and scream until someone comes to watch her. My older male cat Speedy Nibbler finds this quite annoying. Especially since she is the more aggressive one. Like, she will attack him for nonreason (probablynto play) and he will ignore her most of the time but when she starts screaming he sits on the bed and stares at her. He has never attacked her. Ever. So we don't know why she insists on watching her eat.
