I mean, the original had a better story. But in terms of character depth? I give it to this reboot series. All in all, the Devs are starting to write themselves into a corner again. This reboot was supposed to help them write the story in a direction where there wouldn't be a definitive end. Not so soon anyway. I was hoping things would be different for certain characters, but I guess the Devs either ran out of ideas or just don't care anymore.

It makes perfect sense and does "sorta" explains the cartel's and her motives other then just "ye, we're bad guys doing bad things lol". Its just that the delivery and how it was said made it feel like it's another cliche Hollywood line that makes no sense and is there to make the character look cool.

The end of the convoy cutscene bugged out for me when I was playing that mission on my Series X. Kate and the guy she's in the car with were all low-resolution and lower LOD models. It looked like an N64 version of the game...

Anyways this is the first "playthrough" of this game I saw and I am so very impressed with Valeria's voice actress - Maria(had to look it up). Such an amazing job! The thing that I get annoyed with is, no matter what decisions you make, no matter what you say it basically does nothing. You have no control over the story except for which side you choose. And tactics of how you're going to kill everybody. That's it. They threw logic and Common Sense out the window, just for more shooting. Like when they released a terrorist from their custody for no reason
