Mr Boyd was closing on a new farm purchase last week - a multi-million dollar acquisition of extremely coveted farm, timber, and lakefront property - 560 acres. How he went from having the resources to do that to being so broke he needs a check from the government to buy winter cover crop seeds is a bit of a mystery to me and some others in the area.
