@@supakku It came put back in Im guessing 2003 or 2004 as I really wanted the Popper doll. That year literally soon as any store got the Popper dpll she would eb sold out, and news covered for a long time how pricy people were reselling them online... Why was this??? And why do I remmeber. Because I'm a really dark haired brunnete (brown hair). It was really rare for main characters to be dark brown hair let alone brown hair at all, even now it seems rare (in my opinion, and thise that are around still are rarely anything but the smarty)... Anyways, this was big back then, everyone who was a Barbie fam wanted the Popper doll, because fpr the first time arbie was acknowledging a character as Barbie (not Midge, not a Friend of Barbie, etc... as usuually different colored hair they would name the character anythin but Barbie if I recall)... For the first tike Barbie brand achknowledged the character as Barbie, the usual blond, but to go with the story, they called Barbie alsp the brunnete. This was huge. I swear even two years later you coukdnt find the brunnete anywhere thats how big it was. I know because I dwasnt abpe to get the brunnete, but my mom got the race swapped version of her and her prince. At first as a kid I was upset as I finally was happy barbie had a Bariboe that was closer to someone like me. But knowing what my mom went through to just get her made me appreciate the race swapped version better. So much I still keep her and have her and her prince sitting on mu bookshelf posed in his arms sitting together. Because even if that version wasnt in the movie, even they were difficult to find. I came to appreciate the dolls even mroe then I probably (as I was nearing the age of growing out of buying the dols at the time) woudknt have had as much a appreciation as I do or them. Because of this I also came to remmeber this fact well, (and yeah i did look for a few years as my mom did knwing it meant alot to me having a Barbie be called Barbie, be a main character other then bkond and be in a film. No I never got the film, pretty sure onky Barbie movie I owned and own to this day is the Nutcracker (personalky remains my favorite, and its also ause its one of my moms favorite stories in general, Im pretty sure her and dad were strategic woth that, not wanting to see any other bpBarbie film annoyingly on repeat, where thisnoen lile all versions, especially animated of the Nutcracker brings soemthing new, but some reason the animated movies for any cartoon nutrcracker were hard to find in our area. So lije the dolls just havib one version of the cartoon Nutcracker Barbie or not meant something to my famioy, so I guess I kept the vhs for that... yes vhs I dont believe in rebuying a different format if you have a version that still works. But yeah, there were a few times people went crazy for barbie dollsm tbis was probably the first time I recall in years ans maybe since that a particular Barbie was so hard to come by or find and was impossible to get even years after. I think I ehard somewhere a few years back this oddly remains true for versions of decent quality andnunopened ones are even pricier. So Princess and the Pauper dolls, (I don't knwo the mivie itself had as much hype), was really a big thing back in the day. I had friends who even wanted her and another friend that collected specifically race swapped Barbies of the movies and she was never able to et aholdnof either version nor was my other friends. The best way I cant describe what it sememd like from descriptiosn was if you ever watched the movie Jingle All the Way with Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Action Man figure that everyone wants and no one can ind was literally the Brown haired barbie achknowledged as Barbie and her race swaped version. Thats hwo hectic and craxy people were trying to find one. Sorry this is long, hopefully its readbale my device is acting up so once it g3ts this way I cna type but can't gaurentee my old device will let me correc5. The keyboard is getting super laggy when thsi happens my autocorrect breaks and makes correcting worse and replaces thin s with jungly mess of words. Thought I'd share since its a fun fact of the time.

Dora and Amanda have so much in common, they are both explorers and they both have an animal best friend. I think they should make a Dora the Explorer and Amanda the Adventurer crossover series because I want to see Dora and Amanda bonding as good friends especially Boots and Wooly and if there was a Dora the Explorer and Amanda the Adventurer crossover series, it should be called “Dora and Amanda the travelers”.
