I am 100% supportive of your decision Kev, if we all had the means to leave so quickly we all I think would be gone by now. I can't wait to leave as a lot of others I know too. Some point there will be nothing left (thats of use to the country) and all that will be left is a sorry pit of miserable people and policies ontop of policies for absolute rubbish.

You are NOT paying 45% tax... that is the highest tax bracket. Learn how graduated taxation works.

@@dippinthewic LOL how you figure that. I don't know UK taxes, but even in the US as a self employed high earner you are looking at 55% unless you live in a no-income tax state. Add in property tax and it can crack 60% real fast.

I can't imagine starting fresh in the lower mainland now, with new job and finding a place to live if you don't have connections. If I was young I would work up north or something, away from the big cities.
