Yep it's a really solid game! Definitely a banger! The humor is very good, really adds a lot! I just feel like the tutorial could still be improved a bit though. Maybe it's the order in which things are explained or something? Usually games tend to explain the win and lose conditions first (in this case, reach 1500 points before completely depleting your roll count). Then, how the game is actually played "Press spacebar to generate tiles (random amount based on the dice result)". Then how the tiles you just rolled gave you money (not sure why both light and dark tiles start at 0. I feel like 1 would make more sense. Not sure why money is named "points" and doesn't have a "$" symbol next to it. It would help clarify a bit and not confuse it with the amount of points needed to win.). Then explain how to get more money out of tiles (shop upgrades). Finish with Energy, both used for shop rerolls and getting extra rolls. But this is just a nitpick, the tutorial is fine as is, just playing it for 2 minutes is enough to grasp how the game works :)

Also, another tiny nitpick, UX-wise I'm not sure why the Energy bar at the bottom right next to dice instead of at the top right next to the energy counter.

hey man, if theres an equal chance of black and white then the 25% chance tiles land twice as often as the 50% tiles, so provide basically the same value!

Watching a youtuber / streamer that plays in a sub-optimal way is the best way to boost sales! Please don't feel pressured by people asking you to play better. :) Just play games the way you like to, it's better for you, and for the devs!

But if you upgrade the shop everything becomes wayyyy more expensive so you can’t do it too fast or you literally can’t afford anything

@@OlexaYT I think you misunderstood that my man, the price goes up whenever you buy anything, upgrading the shop did not change the price of anything inside. Sure rares are more expensive than commons but they are also way more cost effective.

So frustrating you either don't read or don't comprehend. You need to upgrade shop and get items that give more energy. So usually increase the die, means you go further, which is also more squares.

I coulda sworn the prices increased when the shop was upgraded but I guess not. Oh well. It’s a videogame and we had fun playing it.

Yes indeed +x1 is up to x2 because if it wasn’t already at a base of 1 that means it started at 0 and all your tiles would be giving nothing ever Also since unlocking an item increases roll costs, it is generally best to buy out the rolls beforehand unless you’re saving it for something

I don't think you really understand the value of +1 to dice side. It makes it so when you roll, you get more tiles on the field instead of potentially rolling and only getting 1 tile. It's huge value.

Always spend your energy before you choose a path, the cost to buy rolls goes up once you have chosen. I am buying this game because you played it!

the whole mechanic of the signs not giving you names of the areas but instead telling you what the area is is really cool this game is so cool bro i appreciate this video

The "walrus" is a dinosaur called Munch, which is a character made by fellow roguelike-tuber TimeToGrind; Munch is usually seen chewing on TTG's signature rainbow monstera leaf. Said leaf is also a recently added relic, the one you grabbed at 28:24.

I was screaming when you added +1 to the 6 on your dice after getting the upgrade where rolling 3 sixes in a row gives energy, instead of adding +1 to the 5, so you had a higher chance of rolling sixes

24:46 actually, when your losing, that's the perfect time to take a big risk to get out of the losing state. Just ask any hearthstone player that has used Yogg Saron extensively

To be fair the game was not clear on the first run that there was a multiplier being applied at all. They could fairly easily make it so the tool tip was "Add +x1 to the Light tile multiplier. Starting multiplier is 1." and it would be more clear.

Things I notice while you played: -Purchase dice before collecting the upgrade so it doesnt cost more energy (unless you are saving energy for something). -Upgrading the shop sooner than later seems to be a good play at times. Overall I enjoyed the video and can see this game being addicting :) I would love to see you play it again.

+x1 just means +100% for the multiplier, so you were at x1 and then you got +x1 so you ended up at x2

I'm just starting the video now. One criticism of the game: that wipe transition is very bright and jarring. It probably doesn't help that it contains a bunch of text within it.

Interesting game. The ultra saturated backgrounds are a little fatiguing to look at, but the objects are very engaging.

I don't think you're going to make it without the dice upgrades. I know you can, but the chances seem slim. Also there are two upgrades that I've seen: one adds 1 to one face, and the other adds one to every face (which you skipped during the last one)

Hey cool video and cool game def got to try it, but a little sugestion, instead of increasing the max number on the dice constantly is better to increase the odds so instead of having a single 9 is better to have 2 6s that doubles the odds of getting a 6 rather that having the same chance as any other number

Im unsure if thats a olenky game. Olexa looks is mostly rougelikes, while Olexa thinks is mostly traditional puzzle games. Very good game though.

it’s so painful seeing you ignore the item that gives 10 energy if you roll exactly 18 in three rolls… you could’ve gamed it by upping every die face to 6 or 9 to get 10 energy every 2 or 3 rolls
