I was going to say the same exact thing about seeing the peace in you when you were visiting last! Welcome back here to Oregon. I am in GP, Oregon.......come hike Table Rock sometime and also go on the Hellgate Excursion (dinner trip) you won't regret it! I feel like you would like visiting the town of Ashland too. IDK- maybe you have been to all of these places but I have been in S. Oregon most of my life and I love it here. Glad you found a place to call home!

Not sure I've ever commented but I've been here since leopard robe (!!), waited until 2am (UK time) on night shifts for the next 15dof drop, cried with you through your surgeries, beamed while you visited my favourite city in the UK (Edinburgh) and now here we are... Congratulations! A little over a decade ago, I packed 2 suitcases and my dog, and traveled xcountry to find a new place to call home. My top 3 were Colorado, North Carolina, and California. I'm settled and stoked in San Diego. Best decision ever. Enjoy your new life!

Oregon is AMAZINGGGG! Coming from someone who lives in Texas (Houston), Austin is really wonderful but the summers are the worst. I ended up getting reverse seasonal depression last summer because we had over 50 consecutive days of temps over 100 degrees. We couldn’t go outside. So forget trying to enjoy nature! And I totally get what you mean not wanting to live in this state, lol. I really want to go back and visit Oregon. Driving the Oregon coast was one of the most magical experiences. It’s so beautiful.

I follow a YTuber who grew up in Oregon and moved to NYC 7+ yrs ago and she loves NYC without any plans to move back home to Oregon. So fascinating how we're all so different in where we feel happiest. I've lived in New Orleans and Virginia, wish I had the chance to try out other cities in the US but I'm a Midwest Chicago girlie at heart and love it here despite the winters ;). I'm glad you came to check it out and it's still somewhere you could see yourself living one day.

Excited to have you here in Oregon! I moved from NJ to Oregon last year. My boyfriend was born and raised in NJ but he’s native and his tribe is in southern Oregon. He went to Oregon State and also made it a goal to move back by the time he turned 30… and here we are! It’s such a magical place. Can’t wait to see Oregon content! ❤
