Physiology is the pits 😹😹 but in second year I basically wrote down lecture notes because I feel like writing something down helps me remember it better, then after writing them down I would use rote memorization accompanied by pomodoro technique because my concentration span tends to be short. After I cover a topic let's blood and body fluids I would do question papers strictly based on that topic because that helps you to apply the knowledge you've just learnt instead of just keeping it in your head and not using it. As weird as it sounds I would also teach my pillow at res or say what I've learnt out loud to see if I still remember the content. 😅 Yeah basically that what I did but it was really tough I won't lie. 😹😹💔

@@NomfundoNgwenya Rote memorization is spaced repetition of content until it becomes second hand knowledge to you. I'm doing 3RD year this year.

This might be a bit overwhelming, but make sure you get more than 85% in all your subjects. Competition is very high these days. Alot of well deserving students got rejected this year because the cut of year karl average was 85% or 84% I believe. So make you do your best throughout grade 11 and 12. Apply in time and also apply to all university that provide medicine if financially possible to increase your chances. Even that university you dont want, apply to it. Because it may be the one that takes you. That's what happened to me lol😅

Off campus residents are near like town so there are alot of easily accessible facilities. However on campus its very secluded. The only place you can go to buy things or go to entertainment yourself is at Wonderpark.
