Looks like someone is starting to realize some stuff… - A detail I haven’t mentioned yet about Evan: he is extremely low in self-esteem, he needs the constant reassurance that he isn’t a bad person, that he isn’t a monster. His death (which was already traumatic enough) affected him a lot… and he developed this defense mechanism of torment and psychological trauma to make sure he isn’t hurt again. He manipulates and hurts those who hurt him to make sure he isn’t hurt about… but this mechanism always makes him feel gutted and guilty deep down. Even during his time tormenting Mike, he would break down and desperately ask Mike if he thought he was a monster. Whenever he doesn’t get the response or validation he was looking for, he gets aggressive and finds a way to shift the blame like: “You are the one who made me this way! You ARE the monster!” This is deeply connected to his hypocrisy and how he doesn’t want to acknowledge he isn’t a good person.

It's so sad to see Evan realize that Mike maybe is scared of him. He understands what he's done, but looking for reassurance that way isn't one of the best ways. I think Michael handed it really well, he seemed "calm".

Not gonna lie, i feel like Evan also needs help, not professional help but just help, i get that he can't accept who he was, but that doesn't mean he can take it out on others. Yeah, evan does have a point, Mike did make him like that but unintentionally, i feel bad for Evan and I hope he can get the help he needs and i hope he can boost his relationship with Mike up because sounds like they both need to know none of them are the monster.

Poor Evan, it's nice how mikey is helping him but he also needs help- They need some bonding moments to get closer

Damn..i do genuinely feel bad for Evan, he didn't deserve any of the hurt that came his way and had every right to be angry and want revenge, he just let his thirst for vengeance and protection bring him to far, let himself go beyond what even he knew was the limit. He knew that the things he was doing were much further than the things Michael would ever willingly do to him, the harm and death caused was only intentional from Evan's side, and even he knew it was to far but he kept reasoning it and making it seem logical up until Michael died and he could no longer use logic to cover up the harm he'd done. He definitely isn't a good person, but he's also a child who delt with constant bullying and was then traumatized by death, a child who wanted payback on the one who took his life even if it was accidental. I'm glad he's realizing how little good his actions truly did, and how instead of teaching Michael a lesson he simply become a cruler version of his brother. Michael shaking is also interesting, if anything i'd almost guess he was afraid of Evan in a way, perhaps because of the fits of anger and blaming from when Evan tormented him- 🤔

I can’t help but feel bad for Evan, even after what he has done to Mike. He’s been through a lot as well even though it’s not as much.

I may not like Evan and tolerate his actions, but he is still just a kid (like elizabeth and Michael). Though I do wish he eventually understands his terrible actions and learn from it. He needs to understand those coping mechanisms are not a good thing as they harm others. Everyone in this family needs help honestly.

having watched this and some of the context for it... Honestly, it's incredibly screwed up, to the point where canon William would probably be proud of how much damage Evan did. It's to a point where you could likely say something along the lines of "is Michael even the same person?" not just in a way of 'has he changed from how he used to be' but in a way of 'how much of Michael is actually left', because he went from being a bully and acting confident to acting almost mechanically. It legitimately seems like, the only thing left from who he used to be is that he loves his family... but his relationship with Evan is incredibly toxic on Evan's part, given that Michael is acting almost more like a servant or punching bag than a brother. Honestly I think it would be interesting to see the rest of the family react to just what the hell is going on between them

Evan I'll be honest with you, you should have known the limit before the restriction, this is why we don't let anger and hatred lead us, because it either stabs us in the back or a boomerang hits you in the head. Both Evan and Mike are in the wrong and i think they need a friend that understands them both.
