Anissa doesn't care about Mark or the planet. What she cares about is completing her objective. She was tasked with trying to convince Mark to do his "job". So she tried to appeal to him via logic and diplomacy. That's why they sent her. She's one of the few Viltrumite's who's really good at doing things the Non-Viltrumite way. However, she also has their genetic temper so when Mark said no, she went from a cool 5 to a solid 8 on the anger scale. The ONLY reason she didn't kill him is because she's not trying to answer to the Grand Reagent for the unauthorized killing of a Viltrumite; no Viltrumite wants to report failure to him. Anissa prefers to settle things with violence, all homegrown Viltrumites do, but they live and breathe discipline so they don't get violent unless they have to or are given permission.

Mark really got the shittiest day possible. Firstly, he was almost killed by Anissa with the warning of much worse Viltrumite to come. And he could be really dangerous with his interdimensional power. Angstrom chose either the best or the worst time to fight Mark.

Cecil isn't using a hologram, he's using the teleporter that costs taxpayers 6 million every time he uses it. Especially in the 1st season finale he uses it to dodge Nolan's attacks cuz he's actually there

I liked how Amber really wanted to make it work with Mark and was supportive but reality came knocking that she wasn’t built for this. Shoutout to the show for making me like Amber more and become actually invested in their relationship

Viltrumites get stronger the more they push themselves and recover from severe damage( Zenkai Boost) and Allen( being apart of a super soilder project) was a super-Uponan. His adaptation/Zenkai boost ability was pure luck and is on par if not stronger than Viltrumites on average.

None of them actually wants to kill Mark because they see he’s almost a pure Viltrumite & Mark knows that hence why he wasn’t afraid of Anissa killing him

Bro Allan's Zenkai boost is nuts!. Just a few episodes ago those punches would of killed him! And Aniessa is a lot stranger than those 2 (aside from Luscan) Viltrumites that first pulled up on him. If im not mistaken in the comics his race was genetically made to fight of Viltrumites. With Allan's being one of the only successful ones. Each time he gets into a fight he gets stronger. In the comics he reached a level that was close to battle beast in terms of strength

That scene where Cecil told Mark to comply to Anissa’s demands and pretend to submit is actually very interesting, considering she could hear EVERYTHING they were saying with her advanced hearing, and she even told them that she could hear them. It really shows how she truly didn’t want to destroy Earth or even allow the Viltrum Empire to destroy it. Very complex character.

For those who have read the comics. Anissa is the most hated character in the entire story. I am very curious to see how they handle her going forward.
